I had the temerity to submit mine as my first Earth Day entry.

So far it is being well received, at least the PCs from AH members show that my intentions were understood, even if I have taxed the readers' patience to breaking point.

Now back to writing the real entries...

Well, I wrote mine in a style that's very different than my normal style, so yeah, I cringe, because it's so not me. But to accomplish my sinning, I felt like I had to take on a different persona - one that would flagrantly sin without a second thought.

Shanglan -- Is the poll going to be on best over all, or are you going to create another catagori or two, such as "Most painful" and "Disturbingly hot" or somesuch? Or is that unnecessarily complicated?

Oooh. What an excellent idea! Makes it a little tougher on voting, though ... I was going to just do one big poll. Hmmm. Let me think about it. I will see if I can come up with something that works without bombing the AH with a dozen voting threads.

I'll confess, I'm mightily tempted by the lamentable sin of second person. I've realy never seen that done well. It always reads like a "choose-your-own-adventure" story.

And yet, it seems like it would be so easy not to make fucktarded.
