Bring back the slow,
because sharp tire marks
and streetlights' cold
cones of faux day
shines an overrated
script on the asphalt
of a strained city's
conceptual overflow.

Bring back the breath,
that the million-minded
myriad has been out of
since the siren shrieks
of 6:30 alarm clocks
beat the dream out of
all it's foggy temples.

*using some good old boys, when we get to the more recent lit-errr-oticers I will give maybe 1 or 2 line hints

eagleyez
denis hale
liar
neonurotic
RazzRajen
The_Fool

I'm working...process of elimination...by style.

It's very clear you were once a teacher, anna. ;) :rose:

I totally voted for the Rajen, I hope I'm right.

I don't know... It doesn't sound like Razz. Darn, this is tough. It's perks! Right? ;)

Rajen is my alter ego, *nods*.

This is definitely not RazzRajen. Of that, I am sure. The style is his complete opposite.

It's not denis hale either. "Streetlights' cold cones of faux day" and "a strained city's conceptual overflow"? Doesn't sound like him.

I think it could conceivebly be either the Fool or Neo, but my bet would be Liar for this one.

This is a much tougher call than the other challenge, though!

see I was down to Liar and Rajen, but I swear it could be Rajen. I went with Raj, based on the clarity, however I didn't take into consideration, the out of context issue, and that should have been a major deciding factor for me... so, I wouldn't bet against you on the possiblity that it might be Liar.

It's early lauren before she became late Liar?

I don't think it is Liar, but either Fool or Neoneurotic. If I choose the first I would be an idiot, but I would be crazy to pick the latter. :)

U gonna luv the life outta me or what?

Can it wait until later? I'm on my way to read and review this day's poems.

I think it's later Liar. (Does that sound like I think you're leaving, Liar?). I tell ya--if it's ee, I'm gonna be pretty embarrassed, lol. I'm always telling him I could spot his poems anywhere.

I say it's neo but I bet it's not.

I said the last one was Maria but I KNEW it was perks.

:p

I'm saying it's ee cuz I'll look pretty smart if I'm right,

but will be hidden amongst all the other losers if I'm wrong.

:D

it aint me babe
naw naw naw
it aint me babe
it aint me your lookin for babe.

:p :)

like a choir
funny the singular rattling throatstring
accident, a chord of many so
vocal surely sings-

necks arched
like twelve string
fingers

evangalists
for
a little
bump,

hips and harumph-
words and
riverocks sweet-
to be
bounced
across
with
webbed
feet.
