Chain story

I've recently been working on a story about a woman who is the head courtesan to a 16 century king in India. The story details how she came to the kings palace as a handmaiden to the queen.(There's a lot of animosity from this slave girl toward the queen, she's been serving the queen since they're youth though she is only two years older than her. and she's now has a curious love hate relationship going) The queen has always indifferent because after all why would she concern herself with the feelings of her servant. So she acts only on her own whim torturing and humiliating this girl at will (though no sex between them yet).
Anyway on the day before her wedding the would be queen sets up the rape of her servant girl simply so she herself will be able to learn about sex as she's never been exposed to men outside her family and knows very little about sex. The slave girl is outraged and plans revenge on the queen who she now fully hates but must still serve.
At the wedding feast the slave girl gives herself to the king doing all that he asks without hesitation. upon arrival at the palace she is appointed head courtesan on the whim of the king. her plan works fabulously because the kings lust for her causes him to shun his wife who is reluctant to come to his bed (seeing her slave girl raped was a turn on but she is afraid of the brutality that she witnessed and in her ignorance she doesn't realize that there's a difference between non consent and consensual.)
The queen at first is relieved to put of sex awhile longer but soon grows to hate the slave girl/courtesan when she witnesses (in secret the sex between her and the king) She realizes the difference between non consent and erotic coupling but now she's stuck the king doesn't even desire her anymore and now rebuffs her attempts to come to him. (and while is perfectly acceptable for the king to have dozens of woman and sometimes even men or boys 18+ of course at his sexual disposal it is treachery for the queen to do so any man caught "defiling" her will be put to death as well as the queen herself. Plus she's between a rock and a hard place because her husband knows he never took her virginity so even is she could cheat w/o being caught immediately if her husband ever did decide to bed her she would have some explaining to do.
Meanwhile the courtesan who is highly favored by the king is just as unhappy as she's always been ( she's gone from one form of slavery to another) Also she finds herself lusting after the queen now that her hatred has ebbed and she's seeing the queen as vulnerable for once, with emotion instead of indifference.
but how could she seduce someone who hates her so much ?


As you can see from the synopsis this story is getting very long and drawn out so I'm here hoping that some other writer's will be interested in picking a category and helping with a chain story

Anushri - the princess/queen (name means pretty)

Rajasi - the slavegirl/courtesan ( worthy of a king, godess)

Ajay -the king (unconquerable, invincible)


Pari- Anushri’s mother (beauty,fairy)

Santosh - father -(happiness)

that’s all so far but feel free to add more these are actual Indian names and if you pick Indian names try to stay with the ones that are going to be easy on the eyes and easy to imagine the sound of the name

I like your idea. I am into new and different ideas and mostly taking place in the past. I am not sure I would be interested in helping write but I definitely would love to read the story. Hope all goes and I will think about maybe adding in.

Hey, lighten up. I had to shoot off to a faggot tasting for the weekend and haven't looked at the boards since Friday.

I think this is a good idea and would love to help expand it. I have written a good deal about slavery (mostly contemporary) and I'll work up a few ideas. The only condition is that you illustrate it!

I think it is a very good idea. I don't think I would be a good addition in writing it, but I certainly would read it!

Obviously you've never mentioned this story to me, but I found it, and here's my two cents.

I started a story kind of like this, that took place in the past. Honestly, the ending I had in mind for my story was not a particularly happy one, but the bulk of the story was based off of love/lust (pick your verb) between two female characters. I love the idea by the way...it's like the storyline Bollywood forgot to use.

How much older than the slave girl is the queen/princess? Is your intent to have them fall in love or lust? Will the ending be happy? Sad? Bittersweet?

I'd love it if you'd work on something like this for your CW class if you ever get the chance....even if you keep the naughty bits to Lit and keep the rest kosher for class, it's most definitely worth continuing.

You have major talent Des, you just need to be more confident.

Don't think this would work too well as a chain story - too character dependant. You could split it up into two parts but more than that would sacrifice continuity and readership.

I am always glad to read stories that have real plots. What she_is_my_addiction said about a second version for CW class is interesting because if a story isn't good without the sex, it just isn't a good story. That implies that a story has a plot, but a tale doesn't.

It sounds like you got it figured out. I know you have the talent. Now, all you need is time. Don't rush it, no deadlines here. What's going to be the challenge is the research (How did servants dress and talk differently? What did a 16th century Indian bed look like? .....) Historical fiction can be a bitch.

I'm not sure how I can help, other than give some editorial advice. I suck at grammar but decent with flow.
