Good for you! I am nearing a year and a half of the celibate life myself. I would imagine it is 'harder' for males though. My worst side effect is constant erotic dreams involving Colin Firth dominating me, but I actually mildly prefer that to real sex anyway.

Which path things take depends on how you approach this, what you seek to accomplish by taking the celibate path for a while, and wether or not you have people around you who can respectfully support your decision (as long as it remains a healthy one for you) even if they think you're nuts for choosing it.
