I just found out about this. Celiac ataxia.
Sadly, most of my symptoms fall into the realm of gluten sensitivity but I had no idea previously that it could cause brain damage.
Luckily, in the majority of cases a completely gluten free diet can over time improve the symptoms but the recovery isn't 100% and can take years.
Symptoms are numerous, from memory loss and difficulty in speech to muscle weakness and trembling. Not all have gastro intestinal symptoms either. Depression, dementia, coordination problems.
Check for yourself, the info is out there but here's a link.
