I always liked astronomy and there are some cool events worthy of note happening in the next few years. Eclipses, comets and some dense meteor showers are all in store. My posts will be from a North American perspective but I hope people from other vantage points will contribute.

As usual when something like this happens I have 10/10 cloud cover .

Apparently I'll be in Nashville at the time of the the eclipse. Cool. Hope the weather's clear.

Should be great to view from that area. I was thinking about booking a place in Charleston, SC and maybe taking a boat into the harbor. Weather will be a factor too!
 
The moon is fat, orange and low hanging tonight. Makes me wish I had a better camera.
