Do they work, really? Some kind of tale involving an E! News type character seducing his way through Hollywood's A and B Grade celebs?

Too ridiculous to go with, or a story idea just waiting to turn into something hot?

I don't see why not. Some of the most popular series in the Celeb category center on non-celeb "average" guys on the edge of show biz working their ways through famous females e.g. "The Cowboy Way," "The Tour, and "Journal of an Agent." There's even a short series in the same vein as your suggestion titled "The Interviewer," which is rather uninspired IMO (the series, not the suggestion), but I expect a better writer could do a great job with the idea.

because the idea is common, ithe stories need to be really creative to overcome beioing generic. Though if the 'star' is distinctive and hot both in the sexual and popularity sense, even a predictable story wil streak hot across the sky like a shooting star.

Well, it's muchly because I personally lust after a few of the celebs out there that haven't been written up so far on Lit, or if they have, the stories need much improvement...

It's just a thought at the moment, nothing more - though I would like to know what people think I would need to do to make a story like this most believable/enjoyable.

Thanks heaps.

well, to start with, you need to either work a plot where the sex occurs naturally, or abandon pretense of plausibility whatsoever ....

How do you see your reporter/protagonist? Is he an ambitious man-on-the-make, using his job to gain access to hot women, or using the women to rise in his job? Or is he a more innocent/naive type, astonished and grateful at these women falling into his arms? Personally, I'd enjoy the latter more.

How do you see the women? The Celeb stories I enjoy at least try to give them individualized personalites. And the personalities needn't be based on whatever we "know" about them from tabloids and T.V. If you want to make Shannen Doherty sweet and nice, while Mandy Moore is a skank, go for it if you think you can make it feel believeable. As long as they're all hot and sexy (the most important thing, obviously), we'll enjoy it.

Hmmmmm, yes it's food for thought...

I've got a number of other ideas I think I'd rather get to before this one, but it's worth coming back to somewhere down the line, methinks - just as long as it's approached the right way, and the characters and situations are 'real' enough, then it could turn out pretty hot 'n steamy

masybe instead of a reporter, the Collins gang from Carribean Cruise charter out their boat to celebs ( remaing aboard as crew of course). One thing leads to another. And Another . And....

That's a nice idea :) ;)

'cept, what would the title be? Celebrity Caribbean Cruise?

And it would force me to deliver on the last few chapters of the original CC series double-quick, now won't it? :nana:

Yeah, I actually like that title. And it'll wait til the current series is done, i think.

hmmm, yes the title just came to me off the top of my head, at first thou seemed a little bland and silly, but it's pretty okay and I can't think of much else at the moment - or of anything... I'm soooo tired :(

Yeh well I don't want to start on a different series now, with the same characters and based later on down the track :catroar:

I was thinking of working on something like this a while back, rehashing my old series Unexpected Benefits... calling it Very Unexpercted Benefits, goes back to the next generation of the family luvin' I worked with in that series

Good too about Celeb Caribbean Crusie... the title will mean that the continueing chapters will not appear before the previous ones on my story page :)
