During an interview on "Fox News Sunday," anchor Bret Baier confronted Walensky about whether she could explain how many Americans have died from COVID versus with COVID.

"How many of the 836,000 deaths in the U.S. linked to COVID are 'from COVID' or how many are 'with COVID,' but they had other co-morbidities? Do you have that breakdown?" Baier asked.

Walensky, however, failed to provide the breakdown.

Probably under counted.

It's too many, regardless.

Pandemics suck

Probably because too many fall in a grey area and could be assessed either way.

It all depends on the doctor filling in the death certificate.

If it says 'covid' and nothing else - it is FROM covid.

If Covid is the first item - then it is probably FROM covid.

If Covid is on the list nut not at the top? then it is probably WITH covid but could be FROM covid.

But the doctor's judgement could be wrong or his order might be wrong.

She also said over 75% of Covid deaths were people with at least 4 co-morbidities and were “unwell to begin with.” There’s no reason to doubt her…we’ve known from day one this is a virus that mostly kills the elderly and people with comorbidities, but I don’t think most Americans have heard the part about “at least four co-morbidities.

And I think most Americans don't understand what that.means. how many people actually have one and are not aware?

People that aren't getting regular checkups are more likely to have something undiagnosed. I've seen studies predicting that up to 40% of all Americans have undiagnosed chronic conditions.
