The Confucius Institute’s Beijing Headquarters, colloquially known as “Hanban,” pushes teachers to use “teaching resources” penned by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) itself, including Common Knowledge About Chinese History, Common Knowledge About Chinese Geography, and Common Knowledge About Chinese Culture.

These suggested materials are all written by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council (OCAO), an entity funded and controlled exclusively by the CCP.

In other words: overt Chinese state propaganda is now present in hundreds of American schools.

There are practical Chinese skills and customs that kids could learn, such as tai chi, eating with chopsticks, wok cooking, and generally avoiding obesity. Squat toilets and generally sitting on floors instead of chairs would keep people flexible and healthier, especially during childbirth. Squat births at home may be less dangerous than on beds in hospitals, and much cheaper.

I posted this little tidbit elsewhere but maybe, just maybe, home schooling will take off. And if it does the public is going to come to realize exactly how much of their tax dollars might as well have been flushed down a toilet.

During the school shut down local PBS was broadcasting classes. I was appalled at what is going on in the schools. What was once taught in 3rd grade is now taught in 5th. Classes have been dumbed down to teach to the slowest in the class. I suppose this is because everyone is college material.
