I used to hate Howard Stern, but lately I listen to him on the radio in the early morning, SOMETIMES. Sometimes I shut it off as disgusting or even boring, but sometimes the topic interests me.
I was raised Catholic but broke away from the church many years ago. This morning, Howard Stern had this Catholic mother calling in. She says the Catholic message of abstinence just doesn't work, as evidenced by priests molesting little boys, and a high rate of pregnancy among Catholic school girls. She still wants her daughter to be a virgin when marrying, and she believes the story of Sodom and Gamorrah means oral sex is a sin. But she has taken the rather liberal turn that if there's no entry into the birth canal, recreational sex is OK, that God gave us sexual desires for a reason other than just procreation, and that non-vaginal, non-oral pre-marital sex is normal and healthy and NOT a sin, and a great way to relieve sexual tensions and express loving feelings toward a partner before marriage. So she raised her daughter (now age 16) on the belief that if she has strong desires for a guy, and if she wants to have sex with him before marriage, anal sex with a protective condom is the way to go. Her daughter has always been totally cool with that, but the idea has freaked out her girlfriends in school, about 25% of whom are now pregnant because they have vaginal sex.
This woman said her daughter goes off with her boyfriend nearly every weekend, so the mother presumes her daughter has lots of anal sex. She has sometimes told her mother about it, but the mother knows that a 16-year-old girl isn't going to tell her mother everything she does.
This mom also says that a current (evidently temporary) medical condition currently makes it impossible for this mother to have conventional sex with her husband, and she is getting it anally only for now, just like her daughter. Mother and daughter have regular enemas (she gave her daughter her first enema and instructed her how to do it) and eat high-fiber diets to stay clean for sex in the ass.
Howard Stern asked this mother, if to her anal sex isn't technically sex since there's no penetration of the birth canal, then does that mean her husband wouldn't be cheating if he had anal sex with another woman. The mother said there would bound to be an emotional connection with the other woman or it would never get to anal sex, and it is that emotional connection, not the anal sex itself, that is a betrayal of their marriage.
The mother also says that the vigorous exercise of frequent anal sex with her husband has kept her butt very toned and attractive. It was all somewhat surprising to hear a Catholic mom openly discussing this on the airwaves.
Personally, I do not want my rectum penetrated, but I DO love it when he vigorously slides his cock back-and-forth between my ass cheeks and shoots off into the crack of my ass and onto my lower back. I keep my butt washed and clean inside and out, but I don't go so far as having enemas. I don't know if I would advocate any of this to our adopted 19-year-old daughter and her live-in boyfriend (they have their own place now, they do not live with us), though--maybe that do anal already.
I found this all very fascinating. I'd love to hear what other Literoticans think of this woman, her daughter, and their philosophy. Do you agree with her? Do you think the stodgy old Catholic church could EVER accept and espouse such a philosophy? Do you think a papal edict on this would result in a healthier attitude toward sex among the strictest Catholics? Do you like anal sex? Would you advocate it to your own daughter(s)?
Do tell us.
