Catheter advice?

My boyfriend and I are interested in getting into catheters, but it's difficult to find any places online that discuss it. Has anyone here done it? If so, do you have any tips for us? Positions, ways to minimize the inevitable ouchy beginning, setup and cleanup...? General advice works too!

I'd suggest asking in the BDSM Talk forum and checking out BDSM resources. You could also see what info is available for people who need to catheterize for medical reasons. I haven't heard a lot about catheterization here, but there are quite a few people who practice sounding in the BDSM and Fetish forums, and I bet they woule have some advice for you.

I've been catheterized for medical reasons. It isn't particularly annoying (in fact, it has its advantages, convenience-wise), but for the life of me, I can't see why anyone would find it erotic or sexually interesting.

But then again, I guess that's why they invented the term, "different strokes!!"
