Name: Kyle Starsky
Age: 25
Status: human website designer.
Personality: Kyle is a typical human male, though he treats women with a lot more respect than most guys would. He's usually courteous and kind, but has a decided intolerance of stupidity. He usually spends his time either working on websites, or sitting out on his roof watching the stars.
Bio: Kyle grew up a stargazer, and spends most of his free time either staring at the night sky, or looking at telescope data from the computerized scope on his roof. He believes in the possibility, and even the probability, of life on other worlds, and is quick to dismiss the notion that humans are alone in the universe. He reasons that any race smart enough to travel the stars is smart enough to remain hidden from humans.

Bio: Sama's family has served in the military and science arms of the Royal Fleet for two generations. Sama originally was trained to be a scientist, exploring new worlds, but his natural talent for war showed itself in his basic combat training and he was reassigned. Sama was recently appointed to guard the Royal Princesses, a source of great pride and concern for him. He was excited to learn about the trip, as he would finally get to explore, but he's also aware of the dangers that could exist.

Name: Juni
Age: 210 (looks 21)
Status: Princess (first sister)
Personality: Juni is fascinated by everything and anything, always curious to find out how things work and what causes them to do so (she also has a love for shiny things, collecting baubles and trinkets, even if by sticky-finger methods). Her curiousity often causes trouble, though she doesn't intend to cause it. She's very affectionate, even to strangers. Everyone's a friend in her eyes!
Bio: Juni loves to chase after her sisters, alwys curious to find new things... so when Viola said she was going on a trip into space, Juni was quick to ask if she could go too. Name: Viola
Age: 200 (looks 20)
Status: Princess (second sister)
Personality: Viola is quite a mischief maker, she likes to bribe and blackmail to get her way. Most often she does get her way, and that's just the way she likes it. She's a brat by all means but kind and playful much like a kitten. Curious and always looking for adventure... she's rather spunky to boot.
Bio: Wanting to get away from the boring life of royalty, Viola managed to talk her father into letting her go on a trip into space for her birthday. Albeit she had to take her three sisters along, and three men of her father's choosing. Yet and still it did nothing to stop their ship from crash landing on Earth... what adventures await the lovely feline princess now?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v42/Kuuroinochou/Lit/Dalia.gif
Name: Dalia
Age: 190 (looks 19)
Status: Princess (third sister)
Personality: Dalia is a flirt, a tease, always throwing out inuendos and never, never follows through with it. She's chicken, and a virgin, but very very curious about it all. She's spunky, cute, bubbly even, what we might think of as a typical cheerleader type, the life of the party and the girl everyone wants to be friends with - and feels like they are.
Bio: Viola's idea to get them all off the planet for a while was Dalia's idea of a great time, and was greatful to her sister for including her and the others as they went. Also glad to have the protection of the men, Dalia is definately the curiousity-killed-the-cat type and wants to go out immediately. Shopping, whatever, without thought to the fact that there are no others of her kind here. Curious is curious, and though Dalia is very smart, she doesn't have much common sense, and thus is elated at their little "adventure" at being delayed for who knows how long due to the crash of their ship. Everyone's okay, so let's party!

OPEN ROLE said:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v42/Kuuroinochou/Lit/Fireil-1.gif
Name: Firiel
Age: 180 (looks 18)
Status: Princess (fourth sister)
Personality: Firiel is the youngest of the four and she thus feels like the baby of the group. She's matured to the point where she'd had gone off on her own had she had the chance. She always feels as if she has to prove herself, and so she's developed this headstrong attitute, always questioning the motives of others to discern cowardice. But because of her inexperience she always manages to get in trouble.
Bio Firiel was born the last of her sisters, and when she was chosen to go off on the ship with her sister she saw the chance to prove herself, although she didn't know exactly how she would go about doing that.

Viola

It's been three long months since that fateful day when our starship crash landed on a backwater planet called Earth. We spent a lot of time arguing and fighting amongst each other, trying our hardest to understand the situation we were in. Myself included, though I have to admit I was such a brat back then. Okay so I still am, but I've mellowed out since then.

After taking Sama up on his Observation Training all three of us passed with his approval. With such an approval came our long awaited prize, we get to go to the human school in our sector (I later learned that the appropriate term is neighborhood).

As you may know, I'm Viola second royal daughter of the Felidae Kingdom. I was given this interesting book that allows me to write my thoughts. Kyle said it was a dairy or journal of sorts. Where you write down interesting events in your life. And so here I am...

It's been a full month since my sisters and me got to go to school. We attend a local community college further in the city. I decided I'd take up classes in journalism, being that it required getting dirt on people, I found that was the best feild for me. My other sisters took classes that most appealed to them.

Bass has still been working on the ship lately. He seems less stressed, but he's been recently working at a local Radio Shack. He comes home with all kinds of parts and wiring, finding new uses for them and he's even got the ship to run on a few occassions but the system keeps frying. We're not sure why, probably the differences in Earth and Felidae technology.

Sama's still on us like hawks but it only takes a mere wink from Dalia and Sama is a puddle of mud. I still plan to get my way with Juni but her relationship with Gren is no big deal right now. Nothing I can do about it so I don't mess with her ... too much. Though I do like to get on Gren's nerves and watch him take it out on Juni. I wonder what he's like in the sack? Oh well...

Reto has finally stopped blaming himself for the crash...well that's after Bass found out the ship had been rigged. Now I wonder who did that? In any case, Reto's more energetic these days, he's even got a job though I haven't paid much attention, so not really sure on that. In fact, all the guys are doing something...

Ever since, Dalia had that dream about Aristotle, we've all felt a bit on edge. Still no word from Fireil and that's putting a big fear in my heart. I know she isn't dead, I can feel it but that doesn't mean she's not in danger; or Aristotle for that matter. There's still nothing coming up in the data base from our ship about that ensignia I saw on his shoulder. Wether he is a run away or outcast has yet to be determined but it had to be something big to have a royal prince leave his home and end up here. Almost as interesting as it is for a full family of royal daughters and their family's top operatives to crash here too....hmm? Something is fishy around here...

Kyle had spent most of the day baking. After all, Thanksgiving was coming up soon. He wanted to make sure his new friends had plenty of goodies to sample. He had the turkey roasting in the oven, and he had several sheets of cookies taken out of another oven downstairs. He also had pies out. The smell of the food filled the entire house. As he basted the turkey, he called out to Viola and the others. "Almost done, guys."

Gren yawned loudly as he slipped out of Juni's bedroom. The whole household had long since discovered that he and the First Daughter were mates. In fact, their nightly antics were pretty hard to ignore. Kyle had even threatened to throw the pair outside if they couldn't keep it down. Gren chuckled at the thought.

What the hell was the point in keeping it down?

Stretching his back and feeling the satisfying pops go down his back, Gren swished his tail a few times and sniffed at the air, tasting the rich mixture of scents from Kyle's cooking. He had to admit he had come around on eating cooked food.

Clad only in his dark russet trousers, Gren made his way towards the bathroom. He still didn't trust the water shower but nature called, as the humans said, and he intended to answer the call.

Passing by Princess Viola's door, Gren took a slight sniff of the air. The Second Daughter had seemingly relented in her efforts to mess with his and Juni's heads, but for some reason, her quiet worried Gren alot more. He had said it before and he's say it again, Viola was just too damn smart.

His tail swished a few more times before Gren continued on to the bathroom.

Jumping out of bed, Viola stretched herself out satisfied of the freedom in her limbs. She sniffed the air noting that Kyle was cooking. It seemed to be something rather big so she hurried to straighten up before heading out of her room, just barely noting Gren as he entered the bathroom.

She gave a eerie giggle as she headed downstairs unable to pass up a chance to set the poor wildcat off. It was only fair after last night anyway, damn guy just didn't understand a girl's need for sleep.

Once downstairs the first thing Viola attacked was the cookies, snagging one off the sheet before Kyle could protest. Though she didn't try to grab more than one, just wanting to sample. "Yummy." she announced leaning over the counter as he cooked. "So what's all this?" she asked noting the set up. Looked a bit more extravagant then his usual cooking habits, of ordering out or making the lot of them warm up left overs.

Kyle grinned, putting some green beans in a bowl with some butter and setting them in the microwave. He was about to protest when Viola snagged a cookie, but then shrugged. He knew she'd find out the hard way that they were still hot. He started mixing the mashed potatoes with butter and garlic, then nudged the cabinet door closed. "We have a holiday. It's called Thanksgiving. Basically, it's a feast where we give thanks for what we've got. Or in some cases, what we don't got. It usually involves a lot of food. Turkey, mashed potatoes, lots of vegetables and baked goods. I have some pies in the oven downstairs. Those are DEFINITELY going to have to be eaten with a fork, so I hope you've all been practicing."

He finished with the potatoes, and then started making gravy. Normally he'd do homemade, but there were a lot of people there this year, so he had gotten gravy packets. He dumped the powder into water, added some corn starch, and stirred them over heat till they were the desired thickness. Then he poured the gravy into a bowl, covering it up. "While you're here, could you take the corn off the stove? Oh, and no matter how much she begs, Sheba gets no table scraps outside of turkey."

With a yelp of surprise, Viola bit into the still hot cookie, glaring at Kyle for not telling her. Letting her tongue hand from her mouth she mewled sadly her tail flickering irritably for the action.

Going to the fridge she poured a small glass of creme letting the cool liquid sooth her tongue before finishing off the now cooler cookie. She noted Sheba brushing against her leg, she smiled petting the cat. They had gotten along a little better, though they still had their usual fights with the stove. It usually ended with them both being sent to their corners for a time out.

Checking the corn she turned the stove off removing the corn. "Where does this go?" she asked setting the pan in the sink for the time being.

Kyle came back upstairs with a couple of trays with pies on them. He set the pies on the counter to cool, and looked at Viola. He raised an eyebrow, then pointed to a bowl. "The corn goes in that bowl. Everything's done downstairs, so we have plenty of food. We got pies, turkey, corn, potatoes. There's a cheese and appetizer platter in the refrigerator. You're about to have your first real holiday here. How do you guys like that?"

Juni stumbled out of the bedroom, yawning as she tugged on the large shirt of Gren's she had tossed on to leave the room. At home, she would have had no concerns for modesty.. but with all the human customs she'd picked up, she had figured she'd follow along some time ago. School, of course, also meant dressing appropriately.
Besides, she really liked the way Gren reacted to her in human clothing.

She spotted him in the restroom, giving a playful swat at his tail as she passed and headed down to the kitchen. "Kyle... Why so much food?"
She paused as she heard his explination for Viola, nodding. "Ohhhh, a holiday. And with feasting? Yummy..." Her tail twitched about anxiously. "I learned about this one in my classes. It's like our Harvester's Moon Festival, Viola. Thanks to the Great Mother for her blessings of food and health..."

Gren finally made his way downstairs. The smells of food were just too intriguing.

He had donned one of the human shirts that Kyle had suggested. A simple black t shirt that fit a little too snugly. He needed to fit in with the humans when he went outside with his cloaker on. There had even been some talk of him getting a job. Needless to say, the wildcat wasn't thrilled at the prospect. Looking after the Daughters was enough work as it was.

Appearing downstairs, he raised his nose to the air and drew in the scents of all the food. It was a certainly a feast, more food then even they could all eat, although Gren intended to try.

"I learned about this one in my classes. It's like our Harvester's Moon Festival, Viola. Thanks to the Great Mother for her blessings of food and health..."

He did his best to not snort at his Princess' words but the Great Mother talk always put him to sleep. It was all silly superstition as far as he was concerned. Folding his arms across his chest, his eye roved over the spread.

"So...we just eat it?"

Viola nodded at her sister's explaination now figuring it out. "Oh okay.." she said putting the corn in the bowl Kyle suggested. With a snort in Gren's direction she made a face then turned to Sheba who was meowing at her feet.

"If you attack the wild cat I'll give you plenty of food...skip wha Kyle warned about." she told the cat. Sheba seemed to arch a brow and made no move for the wildcat, already knowing he was about as dangerous to mess with as Viola on her bad days. "Poo." Viola muttered realizing the cat wouldn't do as told. She shuffled around the room anyway finding some cat snacks and let Sheba have one to keep her quiet for the moment.

"We will not eat until everyone is at the table. I'll go find Reto and Bass, Juni you go look for Dalia and I think I saw Sama in the woods training..." she rolled her eyes but didn't make a comment.

The first place she went was to the roof where Bass normally visited when he wanted to be alone. That or the ship but she didn't think he'd be there... sure enough he was huddled on the roof glaring at the sky. Probably sick of being on this world. She sighed to herself and forced a smile on her face. "Bass? Its time to eat..."

Juni made a face at her sister, turning around and grinning to Gren. "Oh, don't you look good," She purred, leaning up and giving his cheek a gentle lick. Her ears perked at Viola's suggestion, dropping back against her ahir as she frowned at her. "But I want to stay in here with the food!," She pouted, already heading for the door. She may have been the oldest, but she still listened to her sisters.
One of the compromises they had made with Kyle... less arguing, less destruction on his house.

"Dalia!!" Juni stood in the back yard, yelling out as she paced around. "Sama! Where'd you guys take off to?! Kyle made food for us- Come celebrate the holiday!" She wandered closer to the woods, peering in for Sama. "You in there? He made a poultry... And sweet things, too. Come out, please!"

Kyle started setting the big table in the dining room. He set out plates, forks, knives, spoons, and plastic glasses. Then he started setting the dishes full of food on the table. The table was more than big enough for them, fortunately. He put the turkey on a carving plate, and quickly carved off large chunks of the meat. Once he had the turkey fairly well deboned, he put the rest of it in a large bowl and put it in the refrigerator. Then he came back out, and started setting bits of turkey on each plate, knowing they'd all want meat. Once he had everything in place, he put a small plate of turkey on the floor for Sheba. Then he waited for everyone else.

Gren still didn't like chairs. On Felidae, simple cushions were lain out all over the floor and you could sit however was comfortable, but these human chairs...some of them seemed designed to not have a comfortable postition. Still, when in Rome as Kyle kept saying. Whatever Rome was.

Standing next to a set of chairs, Gren eyed the food hungrily. There was more food here then he'd seen in quite a long time, and although it was all quite strange looking, Gren had a suspicion that it was all very, very good.

Checking over his shoulder, he waited for Juni. He didn't like patience. Waiting for anything he wanted just seemed silly, but what was a neko to do? He wasn't going to eat without his Princess.

Viola sighed looking out at her sister as she called for Sama. "Hey while you're down there can you poke in on Reto see if he's in the ship again?" she asked from the roof, hands on her shoulder. It was quite strange food and no one came running. What were they to do?

This whole day was a bit unsettling. No Aristotle. No Fireil... she should be with them. This was getting annoying not knowing where those two where. "Well I'm going back inside. Food is on the table, don't keep us waiting." she told Bass giving him a soft kiss on the cheek before slipping back to the window.

Reto sat down in front of a bunch of papers frowning, he was eating idley from a bowl not really understanding what this thanksgiving was all about , the way he understood it, it celebrated a bunch of people almost staving but being saved by a bunch of people who were technologically inferior.....much like their current situation...the irony was not lost on Reto and that was part of why he didn't what to really think about the reason for the celebration...it was enough that the food would be good and plentiful.

The papers were labeled I R S and kept asking him to provide information that he wasn't really confident in providing he was convinced the forms were a form of special torture.

Reto sighed and put down his pen , his head hurt leaning back he considered his new job working for National Flight Systems as a designer he was trying disparately not to advance them too quickly, keep a low profile...that was key but it was boring it was like working on his pre-entry to the cadet force when he was only 40 .

Still it was better than Mc of Donalds which was his first job he'd lasted 2 hours in the training before eating half the beef and throwing a cup of so'da in the face of a trainer who was protraying a difficult annoying obnoxious customer a little too well, maybe he worked for I R S as well. Reto thought with a smile.

Still his new job paid better and it needed to, the Princesses had discovered the true nature of the mall and the internet and had racked up huge bills which he was barely keeping pace with....something had to happen but how could he tell them to budget, thank all the high beings that other income was coming in.

Viola popped up suddenly peeking over Reto's shoulder. "What'cha readin'?" she asked coming up to sit next to him while shifting through the papers. She noticed his bowl and growled. "Fiend! You're suppose to eat with the rest of us. And dont' you dare start spewing your philisphoical BS..." she muttered snatching the papers from his grasp as she read over them. "IRS?" she had read about them in school, not a particularly great class of people but useful. "You're going to join them...do you know how dangerous that is?" she said with real concern. "What if your cloaker doesn't work? All the tests they'll take for processing...you can't do it. I won't allow it!"

Elsewhere on Earth....

Madame Pracilla Jones stepped into her office, shrugging out of her long trench coat she hung it on the coat rack in the corner. With a heavy sigh she made her way to the desk that stood before here in its cherry wood finish. Taking a seat in her plush black leather chair she kicked up her feet on the desk sitting back.

On the desk were a few papers, pencils and pens in a holder, her computer that lay at an angel along with the keyboard and mouse. Her phone on the other corner of the desk sat as black as night with one light blinking. A special light.

With yet another sigh she sat up straight taking a deep breath. "Here we go..." She muttered as she picked up the phone and clicked on the button next to the flashing light. "Sir?"

An slew of sentences, phrases and all sorts of unimaginable curses spewed from the other side of the reciever as Pracilla listened intently to the rantings of a mad man. She didn't dare cut him off and in fact sat the phone down while she went to the corner of the room to fix herself some coffee. Standing before the machine she waited for the coffee to brew, before pouring it in her mug, fixing it to her liking and coming back to her seat to answer the phone and find her superior still foaming at the mouth. This was how most of her days were spent... ever since three months ago two strange creatures had been dropped in her lap...or more correctly her lab. She sighed...

Reto looked at Princess Viola as she came in , he still uncomfortable eating with Royalty in such an informal way.

"Rest assured Highness I have no intention of joining the I.R.S , they appear to be involved in some financial control of the population , control I am told I must allow, besides I would not wish to truly understand what these forms mean and I am sure that is a requirement for at least some of those who work for this organisation." He looked at the forms and couldn't help but shudder.

"They are truly breath-taking in their complexity I have already un-covered several traps that they have placed in the forms and the penalties for incorrect information seems....ah..." Reto shook his head .

"Sorry Highness I bore you I am sure, I shall join you and the others , when is there to be a meal time " he said looking at the papers dreading the rest of the process of completeing them.

He had tried and mostly succeeded maintaining a space between himself and the princesses dispite their constant , needs , would appear the best word for it , and in truth he had caught the eye of several females at his work it was the only exciting bit of the job the rest was too easy , thou he heard his name mentioned with the words critical advance and astonishing ...what was so astonishing about friction free acceleration?

Viola sighed in relief tossing the papers aside without a care to their being intacted in fact she hoped they'd get shredded. But she wouldn't be cruel, she promised to calm down on that...just a little.

"You don't bore me Reto. You do however worry me sometimes. Stop being so crabby. Food is being served now, Juni is out looking for Sama and Dalia. My task was to find you and Bass...I have suceeded without incident in both." She said with pride as she got to her feet holding her hand out for him.

"Come lets feast and maybe later we can go fishing...I think I got it down by now." she said remembering the time he caught a fish for her in the pond out back.

Dalia wasn't a morning person, if you'll remember, but in these few months in this new place she'd learned that her favoritest feli of all time, Sama himself, always got up early to train. So, she'd made it a habit of waking up early from time to time (at least weekly) to go and surprise him as he trained. It just so happened that this Thursday morning was one of those times. They'd been informed at school that the week would be one of no schooling, and she'd inquired at the time as to the significance of the holiday. Their cover of being from another 'country' as it was called seemed to work quite well, and Dalia found personally that people didn't mind explaining things to them if they would only ask.

So, today was some sort of holiday, and she felt it only appropriate that she come and find Sama in his training on such a day. What a great way to start it.... Never as early a riser as he, Dalia waited for the light in the window to wake her before crawling out of bed, dressing, and wandering outside. Sure enough, there in his clearing behind Kyle's house, Sama was training, just as sexily as always.
Dalia held back a while, just watching his form move about as he attacked his invisible assailant, admiring the way his muscles moved and letting his growls and spatters raise the hair... all over her body. When she could stand it no longer, Dalia hopped up into the trees and made her way towards him, leaping from branch to branch until she was directly above Sama.

"Training is going well today, my love. It is a holiday. Do you know of Thanksgiving?"

Sama moved with fluid grace and deceptive power. He was a disciple of Water Style, ever flowing around attacks, and crashing against the opponent. The humans had a Water Style too. He'd found a book in the apartment about it, it was called Jeet Kune Do. After finding that, he'd gained a little more respect for humanity.

Not much more.

Noise in the trees, something large approaching him. He slowed a bit in his exercises, focusing his senses that direction. He caught her scent a moment before she spoke and smiled. He was doing that more these days. Strange that she should change him so. Training is going well today, my love. It is a holiday. Do you know of Thanksgiving?"

"No, Your Highness." They were lovers, but he could not put aside her position or his training. Only in the throes of passion did he forget her title. "Though I am guessing that it is...a day of reflection and celebration." "To give thanks for the good in one's life." He thought on that a moment, "Perhaps the humans have more wisdom than I gave them credit for."

She was as radiant as ever. As he stood in the clearing, his chest heaving from the exersion, he felt a slight shift in his mood. "What brings you out so early, Princess?" "You usually prefer to linger in your blankets." He stuck his sword into the ground, and held his arms apart to catch her. "Would you like to join me down here?"

Reto quickly tidied the stack of papers up and placed them in a folder before Taking the Princess's hand ensuring that he did so in a proper courtly fashion so that none could accuse him of breaching the bounds of proper behaviour that others seemed to have ignore.

THe idea of fishing appealed to him he had enjoyed the few times he had done so since arriving on the planet.

As they entered the place of eating Reto's eyes opened there was so much food , he bowed slightly to Viola, a sign that he was grateful for her allowing him to escort her.

"I am most hungry after battling the forms of the I R S " he said to all and none

Viola giggled having gone to school with some of the more prissy school girls she picked up their format of speech which left her giggling at the way her Feli kind tended to. But she still loved it just the same.

"Attacking the IRS papers were you." she looked around noting the others weren't around. Aside from Kyle slaving away on last minute preperations and Gren brooding over his inability to eat until the others showed, there were no signs of life outside of that.

"Pardon." she excused herself stepping out onto the side porch. "SAMA!!! DALIA!!! Get your tails in here right now or you won't eat!" she screamed into the woods knowing they'd hear her, in fact the yelling wasn't necessary but she wanted to spoil any tranquility her sister was experiencing. If she couldn't get any nookie then she wouldn't either... she pouted at that. Still a virgin.... Greath Mother!
