I have searched the forum for an (un)official breakdown of the categories and what belongs where. I assume at some point there was an exhaustive breakdown of everything but I haven't found it yet. Could someone link me to it please?

Yes, I know this has been asked before but I am looking for an overall generalization of what belongs where. I know a few commenters cautioned me on treading easily around Loving Wives but is there a 'minefields' of Literotica thread I should be reading to get the Coles Notes of things?

Love Your Readers: Categories by Tx Tall Tales is the go-to resource for categories. It's an old document by now, but it's at least mostly still current.

The one caution I would give that I think isn't included in the source, is "Know what a Romance is before you publish to Romance."
