If anyone has any input into this I'd appreciate it. I've finally written something new for Lit. The first three chapters are done and would fit well as separate submissions in Erotic Couplings. The thing is, I'm planning on expanding the story and it is going to take a walk through some other categories before it's all over. Do you think this will be a problem for someone who started out looking for Erotic Couplings and then finding the story turning into something else? The key will always be the original two characters, but they are going to delve into some other things later on.

Hey, Boota. You might want to put it all into Novels and Novellas. Just a thought, but putting it there would let you have it all in one category, and while I could be wrong, I believe that people expect a story in that category to wander around a bit.

Thanks TC. :) That might work. But I'm not sure if the story will end up long enough to be considered a novella. Then again, it probably will. I started out with characters I liked so it's fun to get them laid.

:D I know exactly what you mean. *chuckling* You're welcome, btw.

Is there a wrod count minimum for N&N?

It wouldn't be a problem for me as a reader. Some authors tell the readers up front (first chapter) that the story will contain x, y, & z. Others do chapters in different categories (I've even seen very high scores for this, although I don't know how many readers you'd lose that way). Most EC, or LW stories have a lot of different categories in them, so you're usually safe unless it's something extreme (I got blasted for putting NC stuff in a story that started out like a Romance piece).

There are a lot of different ways to handle it, but I've seen them all used. It's your choice, I doubt you'd get too much flack any way you try it.

P.S. BTW, hey TC, long time no talk.
