Categories, votes and comments

Most of my stories have been pretty easy to place. But there have been a few that could fit in more than one category. I usually consider where it would get the most views. Votes and comments are nice, of course, but I mainly want to be read. So if it comes down to views over votes, I'll go that route.

I write it, I try to figure out what category it fits in best, I post it. Other than LV I don't to much worry about the other Cats. Each have their own problems as far as I'm concerned.

Choosing between IR and romance is easy. Is the IR part central and key to the story. If yes then IR is where it goes. If not then Romance.

btw: IR need some good stories that are not stereotypical. The readers are well burnt out on those from what I got in pc's and e-mails on my story there.

I don't think about views, votes, etc when deciding which category to put a story in. I try to choose the category that best fits the story.

Ditto! For me also. I do let readers know if it might fit a number of catagories in some cases My problem is with Mult-chapter stories in different catagories because of content.

I figure if the reader wants it read it, they'll find it.
