Catagory help

Hi,
I have a question for the authors out there. I am currently posting a series called Siblings with Benefits which of course by the title is an incest story. In the story I start out in present day and allude to many dark past events that have occured in Mark/ Megan's lives. I have been using flashbacks to go into detail on some of the major ones. Several times I have mentioned that Mark who was badly abused in a foster home finds the foster father who beat him and almost kills him. I had already written this as I hope at some point to self publish a slightly different version than whats on lit and want to give this chapter a shot to get some feedback.

First problem is catagory. I was warned by someone when I first started on the site that incest has to stay in incest. Now there will be sex between the brother and sister in this as will there be a couple of other sex scenes involving Mark with other women. so I suppose technically incest is still my catatgory. However this will be a very long story-at least 7 lit pages as I don't want to do chapters- it will be called Siblings with Benefits so my readers find it but rather than a chapter # will be called siblings with benefits Lex Talionis (my readers know what this means) and will be very story driven there will be sex but not as much as an avereage story on this site in proportion to the length so I have thought about Novels/novellas and posting a warning to the reader that there is incest (title should tell them but I don't want anyone blindsided) I also have to install a warning as far as there is graphic violence throughout. I feel one way or another this will not be a great vote/view getter but would really like my fans to get a glimpse of what really drives Mark as my series is written from the sisters pov. and I want some feedback on my non erotic writing. so I guess after all this rambling is what catagory? I'm hoping someone out there has written or read something similiar and can help. Thanks for the help! MIke (lovecraft68)

Incest trumps most categories so it will probably be put in Incest.

I'm slightly worried about the flashbacks. Literotica doesn't allow sex before age 18, so any flashbacks to childhood have to be sex-free.

Novels and Novellas with the warning ( and the obvious title ) shouldn't draw any serious ire -- but it's also not going to draw many reads. The category is quite the backwater on Lit.

If the story is primarily for the fans of the series, that may not be an issue for you.

There's always the possibility that Laurel will move it to incest, but the N&N category is pretty open-ended, and there are incest stories there.

no worries on age

Oh no worries there my friend! In my hope to be published version they are 15/18 for the first time but in chapters 4/5 of my series which is the first time Megan "takes" her little brother they are 20/18 so my ass is covered. thanks for the warning though. Mike
