It's been quite a number of years since my time in Sydney so my information might not be accurate these days!

The city centre end of Oxford St (just out of Hyde Park) was where a lot of the gay bars & clubs were.

Just off Oxford St is Darlinghurst Rd - this links Oxford St with William St leading to Kings Cross.

Darlinghurst Rd was a gay cruising spot for easy pick-ups (or to rent what you are looking for!).

There were quite a few adults book shops in around both Oxford St and in Kings Cross - Kings Cross was more straight stuff.

William St used to be where you could see the ladies for hire.

Sydney is a pretty open city so you'll not have to look too hard to find what you're looking for.

The inner city suburbs of Paddington, Newington & Glebe were fairly chic & student orientated places to live so I expect some action might be found there, also.

Sydney lockdown...

Hello there, sadly your timing couldn't be worse. Sydney has just had a spike in COVID cases, and you will have to quarantine for 14 days on arrival. That will be in a hotel... and that also means no visitors.
Aside from problems back in March, Sydney has been fine with fairly unrestricted movement and little to no need for mask-wearing, this has taken a dramatic turn in the last 72 hours.
I would advise you to at the very least review your travel requirements.

Shame... we might have been able to meet for a "drink".
