One that might fit your description is “Breaking Her In” by Seanathon. It’s about a guy with a bitchy roommate who can’t pay her half of the rent, messes up their finances and then pays it back by being free to use whenever he wants. And it has an interesting twist.

ALSO, at the risk of self-promotion I think you might like a series I’m slowly working on. These are short one-off stories in a shared alternate reality, where the United States has a proud tradition of free use. I’ve always been intrigued by the stories of reluctance where the victim is annoyed, and at worst exasperated, but accepting in the end (literally). Even in a world of free use, what scenarios might push the boundaries of taboo? I was inspired by George Tasker’s wonderfully entertaining “Revenge (Parallel Universe)” series.

If you check it out, let me know what you think! I’m still working on a title convention that will fit the character limit, but these two are published so far. I’m 3/4 done with the next one, so should have it published in the next few weeks.
