Back in the day, boys who had promising singing voices were castrated prior to reaching puberty so their high soprano notes wouldn't be ruined. In the 17th and 18th Centuries, many castrati were prized as lovers by noblewomen, as they ran no risk of being impregnated by them. The famous castrato Farinelli was particularly popular with the ladies. Apparently, being castrated after age 10 was the key to continued development.

I'm a bit surprised there haven't been more stories on Literotica dealing with the subject. It would be an excellent topic for those who like to write historic erotica.

I'm not sure how being physically castrated as opposed to just vasectomised (tubes cut but balls intact) would affect desire or performance. I've had a vasectomy but am still as horny and ejaculative as ever. Not sure I could live without my balls and semen though.
