Black Rose Lake – a vampire thread
Modern Day = Vampires are a recognized race; they have been for almost a decade. Small wars had been waged between humans and vampires and they still continue to feud today. Nine and a half years ago, the first bitten and drained victim was a young female who was found dead in a hospital in downtown New York. All over the world the myth of vampires or vampire groupies spread. Soon after the myth became terribly real. Jayson Scott was the first vampire to ever go public. Sacrificing several women in a blood bath on national TV. Prior to his confession, he was a beloved teen idol, who had grown into a sizzling movie stud. He has since been the target of many attacks and is seen as public enemy number one. More vampires came public, under Jayson’s command live under his control, and loyally serve him.
Many men and women idolize and desire to become vampires themselves. Several websites and groups are dedicated to the fantasy of one day becoming a bloodsucking night owl.
With the great love and mystery that surround vampires in modern day, there is also a price. Once Victor went public, the governments have labeled vampires as menace to society and they are targeted by police with order to shoot without question. While so many vampires are idolized by thousands they are still considered the hunted. To make matters worse it seems there is a rebel gang of vampires who are aiding the police in their search. They give away valuable information on the whereabouts of Jayson and his followers who all dwell at Black Rose Lake a mansion overlooking a Miami estate.

Name: Chantelle Da Bonmir
Age: Unknown. Is still considered a young vampire.
Appearance: Her skin is an odd nut-brown far different from most vampires. Though a new breed have darker tones, distinct from their pale counterparts. It is said they were breed in order to blend in with humans to help with the spread of violence on the targeted vampires. Her long raven colored hair hangs in dead straight and frames her heart shaped face in a way that almost softens her strong jaw and cheekbones. The feature that stands out most on her face is her large, almost almond shaped jade green eyes. A lot is always going on in her eyes, her thoughts and emotions are perfectly displayed within them. But don’t trust everything you see, Chantelle is a fantastic actress and has no trouble hiding her really feelings and disguising them with another to match the situation. She lines them in black kohl liner and accentuates her long lashes in the darkest of black mascara. Her eyes are wide set with thin, shapely brows above them and a broad, but endearing nose between them. Her lips are one of her favorite features (aside from her full breasts) and she plays them up with blood red lipstick or them complete opposite with soft neutral gloss. Either way the top lip is thinner then the bottom but has the most perfect cupids bow shape to it.
Personality: Chantelle is as lethal as she is good-looking. Her "Take no shit," attitude has given her the repute of one of the coldest women in Miami. Icy-hearted, Chantelle lacks most emotions (unless sarcasm can be considered an emotion) and can kill quite ruthlessly without feeling pain or regret.
Chantelle is one of the most cunning women you’ll ever met. As a “secret agent” working for the police, in order to take down Jayson’s empire. Her job calls her to be very straight-forward. She knows how to organize and execute ingenious and complicated plans, and she can quickly develop guileful stratagems on the fly. In other words she’s one smart little bitch. This devious quality has a double-edge, though; as it can be difficult for her to earn the trust of others, yet at the same time, it makes her a truly experienced undercover cop when she has a job to do. Being a vampire to her is both a gift and a curse. She leans toward the gift end much more. She loves the dark gift but at the same time realizes if she would never be publicly recognized as help to the police. And being in the spotlight is was she lusts for…
Role: One of the rebels. Is dedicated to seeing Jayson die in her hands, but she will settle for him losing all of his power and popularity. He did after all murder her best friend. A humane that was used as one of his sacrifices on national TV.
