Nevermind!

Major Edit: I think I was a bit rash in restarting this. I'm going to rethink the way of doing it, and get back to you all. For now, let us allow this thread to sink into the nether regions of Lit's archives.

Shila Ansten

Shila did not intend to be on the flight to Madrid. She had hoped for a quiet retreat in the mountains and no work. Yet here she sat, dressed in her best blue suit waiting to board a plane to Madrid.

She resented the fact that she was the only female associate who could handle the Portman account. But, the money was good and the overtime would be bonus. She packed light, her laptop, some nice if almost void of fabric clothing, and a few non essentials.

The call came as she was getting her ticket ready. It was her boss Marcus DeWitt. The banter back and forth gave her a headache and the persistant droning of those around did not help. She wanted on the plane, the sleep masks and to sleep there. Sighing, she checked her appearance in one of the stainless lockers.

She was pretty by anyones standards. Her flowing brown hair cut just above her neckline was styled haphazzard. She had on just a touch of makeup to accent her deep blue eyes and her tightly fitted suit jacket and mini skirt left little to the imagination of her figure. If you were lucky, a quickl view of her ample chest was possible in the black bra it was supported by when she bent forward.

At least Madrid was warm and she could enjoy a real maragarita while she was there and if some hottie made the right play, then that too was an added perk of business travel.

If this is not okey, I can edit.

My Character:

Sondra Adele was always called 'The Sweet Girl' in high school, and the one who always stayed close to home. But she wanted to change that this year, freshly graduated from St. Cecila Academy, she graduated in the top ten of her class. She was a little naive when it came to the opposite sex, always perferring tostick to her studies. Family and School always came first, she only had one best friend and an few close friends.

She was always caring and kind with everyone she met, included those who were mean to her, but she would be firm with them if they pushed her too far. In Looks she was the geeky type, wearing thin, silver framed glasses, she couldn't see far away but she could see near. Her hair was dark brown almost black, her eyes were an deep, ocean blue that told of her emotions that she was feeling at the time. She stands at five foot five, being relatively short with wide hips. She keeps her body covered with blue jeans and long sleeved shirts.

She was raised by two loving parents, and her grandmother had lived with them for the past two years before she died. Her Grandmother was dianosed with Cancer of the Liver and lungs, and Sondra offered to take care of her after school, and that is precisely what she did. She cooked, cleaned, and waited on her Grandmother and administered her medicine to her every day for over an year until she died. But her Grandmother always made her promise that after she was gone that she would live life to the fullest, no matter what anyone thought.

Why was she traveling to Madrid, Spain of all places? Because she loved the culture and language, and it was something exciting to do. She promised her Grandmother she would live life to the fullest, and she was going to. From now on whatever happened, happened, and she would face it head on.

OOC: I hope this is okay.

Thomas Anderson

At 27 Thomas has the world at his feet, one of the truly great footballers in the world, thou he'd just spent the last 2 weeks being careful to call the game soccer for his American hosts.

He'd worked hard all his life to live the one dream he'd had since he was a small boy and now at the peak of his powers his name appeared in magazines around the world, endorsements flooded in and of course upwards of 50 times a year he played in front of tens of thousands at packed stadia across Europe.

He'd never really had a personal relationship that he regarded as meaningful, thou he was linked to a different Hollywood Actress, Supermodel or Minor European Royal every week.....some of the stories were even true.

Thomas had an arrogance about him that he fully justifies on the football field but can't seem to switch off anywhere else, but at his heart he genuinely wants to be liked and can show great care and affection for others when he thinks no one else notices.

Normally surpremely fit Thomas is recovering from Ankle Surgery having been treated by one of the worlds leading sports injury specialists in Miami...now he looks forward to returning to the Real Madrid Squad having been transferred from Manchester United for 20 million pounds the previous season.

Hope this is okay...

Pam Johnson buckled herself into the seat, grateful that the flight wasn't filled and that she had the other two seats to herself. It wasn't that she minded having people next to her, she just preferred to read rather than talk. Reaching up to adjust the air flow, she hoped the plane would take off soon so that the air would be cooler. She wasn't optimistic about the weather in Spain, but she had been guaranteed that the time share had air conditioning.

Pam wasn't much of a traveler, and had just gotten her first passport for this trip. She still was having trouble believing she had won a week's stay at a time share in Europe, specifically Spain. She was a little relieved that she would be going to Spain since she had taken a little Spanish in high school and figured that she might be able to make herself slightly understood, although when it came to understanding others she was lost. It was better than being sent to a Slavic country or France or somewhere where she had no idea about the language at all.

Pam was shy, very shy and seldom left her comfort zone. As a research librarian at a small college in Northern Arizona, Pam's world consisted of her small cubicle at the university and her small apartment off campus. She seldom dated, as few people ever saw her, other than the college professors for whom she did research. Students wanting specific information were assisted by a librarian who worked at the main desk. Pam was hired four years ago to search the internet, library resources and anywhere else she could think of to help which ever professor was currently working on their article for publishing that was required to maintain their position on the faculty. At 28, Pam had researched a lot of trivia and actual facts, from amoebas to Zen. She couldn't say she had a lot of knowledge in one speciific area, she could never teach, but she had a ton of odd tidbits of information running around in her brain. If she hadn't been so shy, she might have tried out for Jeopardy, but she knew she would freeze or click her button so often that it would freeze. She did try to watch the show whenever she could just to test her own trivia bank.

The plane was still filling up with the other passengers and in curiousity she glanced around to see who would be taking the long trip. One of Pam's mental games that she played with herself was to try to figure out the jobs or lives of different people that went by. She never knew if she was right, it didn't matter, it was just a way to pass the time while eating lunch or waiting for the bus or in this case waiting for the plane to take off.

After checking out the other passengers, Pam reached up and redid the band holding her brunette hair in the pony tail. She wasn't used to the level of humidity found here in Florida and could feel her shirt sticking to her back. She tried to picture the pine trees and cool breezes that were so much apart of her life now. Pam wasn't from Arizona, but had gotten a scholarship to the small private college and just never left. Those that knew her and her mother back in Barstow, California always said that Pam was like her mother. Pam couldn't see it though, outside of them both having brown hair and green eyes, and long-legged bodies that could wear most clothing with ease, Pam had nothing in common with her outgoing, autocratic mother. Going away to college had been Pam's release from her own private hell, where nothing she did was ever right or good enough. Pam went home at Christmas time, only from a sense of duty. She stayed two days and always felt as if she had been given a reprieve on life as she drove east across the desert. She liked her life now, liked who she was, and while occasionally she felt a little lonely, she had plenty of online friends, a few close friends at the library, and a date every now and then so that she didn't feel like she was all alone in the world.

She was going on this trip, not so much because she accidentally won it, but because her friends packed her bag and practically pushed her into the security line. Once she was through security, she figured she should keep on going. But she was looking forward to going home when the week was up. Meanwhile, her onboard bag had several books to keep her occupied on the fight and at the time share. With one more glance around the almost filled plane, Pam went back to the latest bizarre situation that Stephanie Plum had gotten herself mixed up in. With one hand holding the book and one hand covering her mouth to prevent laughing out loud at the story, Pam read as the flight attendant talked about emergency exits and oxygen masks.
