Casting Call/OOC: Devices of a Madman - DBZ Thread

This thread centers around the Dragonball Z universe, right around the time that Goku had arrived back on Earth to be greeted by his friends and family... and a mysterious youth that reveals himself as Trunks. Apparently Dr. Gero, a scientist for the Red Ribbon Army, had created several artificial beings that would carry out his orders. His orders? Eliminate a meddlesome Saiyan. Their target? Goku!

Ok, so there's a good place to leave off I suppose. The thread won't follow the exact storyline from here since we're free to come up with out own. Anyways just post up a bio of your character and we can start. Custom characters are ok if you don't want someone from the series.

I imagine that needed roles will include the usual Goku, Trunks, Vegeta, the Androids, and the other Z-Fighters. Gohan can be used if you want, just I guess this board has an age requirement, so if he's to be used in SRP situations make him 18 years old at least. ^_^

Name: Trunks
Race: Half-Saiyan / Half-Human
Status: Low level Super Saiyan

Trunks is the son of Bulma and Vegeta, a product of their passionate and yet unstable relationship. He was born into a world that seemed to have hope... and yet with the passing of Goku, a legenday fighter he never had the chance of meeting, it seemed to slip away. As he would come to learn the Earths special forces would be eradicated by two Androids, #17 and #18. Yet there seemed to be hope for them all: Gohan had survived their initial encounters and has grown to be a remarkable warrior... and a Super Saiyan! Over the years as Trunks grew older Gohan took it upon himself to fight the due, while at the same time training Trunks so that he could one day help fight the evil that was destroying their world.

After awaking from a state of unconsciousness, a state that is mentor Gohan had put him in just before a confrontation with the androids, he remembers slowly walking down the streets to the body of his closest friend. His rage erupts inside him and he unlocks his Super Saiyan abilities, and ever since that time he has trained constantly so that one day he could find the strength to return home and defeat the androids.

Currently he is travelling back in time so that he can enlist the aid of Goku and the other warriors of the past. After all... some things should change.

Race: Artificial Human
Status: Nearly limitless energy supply and fighting capabilities.

Bio: Android 18 wasn't always known by that name. Before she underwent cybernetic enhancements by Dr. Gero, she had lived as a fairly care-free woman. Alongside her brother, 17, they moved from city to city doing as they pleased. They were skilled enough to avoid the authorities but they were never able to make a name for themselves, never able to get enough out of life... the challenges and excitement seemed to escape them. And then they disappeared.

In the future timeline, the duo would later resurface to wreak havoc upon the world, destroying over 4/6th's of the worlds population as they went about seeking amusement from the destruction they caused. The world was their playground, and no one was powerful enough to stop them.
So far nothing is known of the capabilities and potential that the two androids possess.

I guess I can't really start posting as Android 18 until she's released, so should I come up with a custom character to do a little bit of filling in? Or are we starting off the thread right after their release?
