Casting Call for Alternate Realities Hero thread: Shattered Reality

If anyone has read the comic Exiles, you would understand where I am coming from but for those who haven't let me explain my new thread idea. Basically there are countless alternate realities, while the Watchers are not allowed to interfere in those realities sometimes others have to step in and lend a hand to right the wrongs so to speak, Me I am already taking the role of Avitar which will be your guide in other words I know the problems with the reality but I can not directly tell you what to do to fix things.

Now I know this sounds kinda wierd but trust me this will be a cool thread for several reasons. 1) Any character can be used. You can use a character you created, or someone from Marvel or someone from DC Comics, hell I'll even take Image and independent comic companies 2) Imagine the conversations that would take place like Superman working side by side with Wolverine. Ah I can smell the differences in the philosiphies already 3) I know some threads prohibit sex but my rule is as long as it is a natural progression between two characters that have good chemistry together then let it be

Rules: I know I know rules suck but hey there has to be some order
1) While I know we discussed murder before but no wild slaughter sprees without good reason. It is annoying and it cheapens the affect when someone important dies.

2) No larger than life character. This means if no character should have the power of god or something. Let's try to keep in on an even keil people.

3) Enjoy what you are doing or get out.

Let me know what a watcher would do to be discraced, and how one might become able to be a "fixer" (for want of a better word).

Sorry to keep up asking so many questions but what about amlagem characters? You know two characters who are mixed as one. If so I would like to use an amalgam of Puck from Alpha Flight with Galactus. The result would be a midgit sized Galactus with a huge appetite, bushy mustache, and a Canadian accent.

Sure all characters are allowed and while you can use your characters from other threads in this story you can not involve this thread in other stories. Maybe if this thread dies before you other one the character will be able to use his experiences here in other threads since technically this thread involves time travel, your character can be in both places at the same time.

Or you could do variations of characters like a female character that could be the offspring of Superman and Wonderwoman or even villians or formerly deceased character can work. Alternate realities have endless possiblities

and yeah a disgraced Watcher is OK too

A recent topic of super hero dicussion in another thread has spawned an idea in which I would like to encorporate here.

How many character's can we play? If just one, I don't think this can be done, because they are a team, and you really can't break up a team.
They are all so good in their own way.

I'd like to submit the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as my superheros.
If someone else would like to play a favorite, Don or Leo, they can. I don't mind at all, but I can't just let a perfectly good idea like that go to waste.

In truth, they aren't very strong as an entire team... look how long it took all four of them to defeat 1 evil brain from dimension X?

Speaking of which, what comic made TMNT? DC? Marvel? Or was it something else?
I know Laird and Eastman drew them, but not quite sure who published them.

Before it became a cartoon, Eastman and Laird did the comic independantly. Sometimes incorportaing other independants like Cerebus in it. Eastman and Laird stopped doing them shortly before the cartoon hit I think.

After the cartoon hit, Archie Comics did a monthly series that at first followed the cartoon but eventually departed from it, introducting characters like Wingnut, Screwloose, Man Ray, and a jaguar whose name escapes me. In the Archie Comic they defeated the brain in a big showdown which had all the enemies they had, excluding Shredder who was killed, vs all the turtles and their friends.

The last book I bought under the Archie label, probably about 10 years ago or so, showed them in an alternate reality where NYC was covered in about 10 feet of water and the main bad guy was a Shark mutant. I think either Donatello or Leonardo was killed but Raphel quit the team after losing an eye and I think an arm to the shark guy.

Since then I think Image has bought the rights to TMNT. I know that Erik Larsen has done a couple turtle stories, including a cross-over with The Savage Dragon, but again that was something like 4 or 5 years ago. I think they still make reprints every so often though.

If we can use more than one character I want to create a herald for my Galactus midgit. Hope you don't mind the comidic value of a pint-sized Galactus.

I'll start With DeWuf (Day Wolf): A twisted Were Wolf Who Had Goten in to A fight With The Angle Zeus. During the fight The two Acidently Killed Two CHildren As Punishment to both Zeus Was turnd to ASpiret And Placed in to DeWuf. DeWuf Always As Con troll Over Him Self But He Still Has Zeus in Therewith him. As Far As Powers Go He Uses magic based On Laie Lines Which be ing Were Wolf He Can See. And thanks to Zeus He Can Call On lightning.

If possible I would LOVe to join this thread. I'd like to play a self created character. I'll describe him below and you can let me know if I'm in or not.

Name: Jason Marcison
AKA: The American Spirit (it's not what you think. Read on)
age: About 30
Description: Jason is six foot tall, broad and well muscled. He has short brown hair and sky blue eyes.
Powers: The American Spirit has the ability to turn invisible and walk through almost anything, walls, people, bullets etc. Thus his name, he plays at being a ghost. He considers being invisible his natural state. He's a little off his rocker because of this.

Jason is not a talented hand to hand fighter. He likes the creep stuff. He's the ultimate spy and recon agent. He carries a variety of non-lethal weaponry with him including a stun gun. A beanbag gun that looks like a shotgun. A nightstick, mace, and others.

More on The American Spirit.

A history to the character... Hmm?? Hadn't thought about that. So I'll go on to the second question.

His uniform is rather thrown together. He wears an all black ski mask. A black leather jacket with a white T-shirt underneath and blue denim jeans and running shoes. He also wears leather driving gloves to hide his fingerprints. He thinks spandex is silly. : )

He is capable of turning things invisible, but not big things. He can turn himself, his uniform and his weapons invisible and intangible. They go with him. He can touch something small, not to much bigger than his sawed off beanbag shotgun and do the same. Nothing to much bigger than two foot square. He could make someone's arm disappear, but, unless it was baby, he couldn't do a whole person. I forgot to put that in my original post.

As for his back story. Jason was a 33 yr. old high school history teacher in Manassas, Virginia.
He got his powers when he was exposed to some unknown form of radiation during the latest alien invasion. He was caught up in the crossfire and was pushed aboard the alien ship. There, he was exposed to whatever kind of radiation the aliens used to power their ship. This radiation slowly altered his DNA and made it possible for him to go invisible and intangible. He taught himself to control his powers sitting in his little apartment in Northern Virginia. It was during this time, that he went just a little insane. This will be his First BIG Time activity as a superhero. he's a newbie, just like me. : ))
Jason has quit his job as a teacher and has dedicated the remainder of his life to being a superhero. He has suddenly come into some money but he doesn't want to talk about that.
