Christopher Walken is just plain spooky...

I'd have to pull him out of a time warp and toss him in the gym for several months, but Victor from "Home by the Sea" was always Joe Don Baker circa "Mitchell" ( in better shape of course )

I can't think of who to cast as Cat...

What a superb question and post!

got busied up...

Remedy For A Stumbler was written with Kate Beckinsdale and Mos Def in mind. So I could theoretically have put it in Interracial, just to watch the reaction. ;)

You tell me (please), who should be cast for the lead character in a number of my stories, 28-year-old "Susan Smith." (I'm a dummy when it comes to actors.) Here's a description of Susan when she was in college:

'She was rich and beautiful, and liked to look the part. While not at all snobbish about it saw no reason not to dress in a classy yet understated "preppy-couture" manner. Susan's spiritual guides in terms of style and appearance were Sharon Stone, Audrey Hepburn, and Grace Kelly – not Brittney or Madonna or, God forbid, Courtney Love.

'Susan was 5'8", had very ample but not huge breasts, light brown hair that she wore shoulder length, and a pretty face. She had a healthy "California girl" look to her. Add to this her healthy, athletic "California girl" good looks, and there was no reason for anyone to suspect that Susan's sexuality was anything but conventional . . . '

Here's another, of Susan at age 28:

'And then a woman's voice, calling: "Kara! Joyce! Welcome!"

'Joyce looked to where the voice was coming from, and beheld an amazing sight: A gorgeous young woman strode down a sandy path through the palm trees, wearing nothing but a microscopic white bikini, and a great tan. "This is Susan the billionaire?" Joyce thought. For no good reason she had imagined a frumpy middle-aged "Mrs. Grundy" type.

'Instead, the woman was a bombshell. She looked to be in her upper twenties, slightly above average height, with shoulder-length light brown hair, and a perfect, womanly figure. Given the scantiness of the outfit Joyce could not but notice the nicely rounded hips, flat stomach, and more than ample, but not excessively huge breasts.'

No, no, noo.

The whole point of writing is to leave an impression in the reader's mind that they can fantasize into the characters. It is so sad if you cast the story and pull the rug under our imagination.
