Hello People,

A few days ago I bought a good 200$ design pad, as I consider myself a guy with good drawing abilities and a passion for drawing (also i do much vector design stuff). I'm still getting used to it, and my drawing skills are still pretty raw with it. So as I practice I'll post them here for you to accompany me in my journey of design pad practicing :)

This is a drawing made with pen... with my full skills.

This is my first attempt with my drawing board... pretty hard! I got to practice a lot!

Welcome aboard Carreira! good to have some "fresh blood".

What sort of tablet did you get?
And what application are you using?

Hello Throbbs,

Like to see you around here, I stopped by "your place" too and liked it. I'm using artrage because of the charcoal texture. I don't know any other software like it tough. I'm a graphics designer so I just know corel, illustrator and other vector programs that dont work with it. LOL.

If you know of a better one for free-hand drawing let me know.

Photoshop really is fantastic.
Also a friend tipped me off to SketchBookPro which has really good pencil, charcoal replication.

The new CS4 and beyond do have some "pretty good" pressure sensitive vector brushes now... not the same control though.

I use a wacom tablet. But I still prefer drawing by hand on paper and scanning.:D

Gonna grab that sketchbookpro tomorrow to try out.... will post my drawing then..
