I'm not sure what scale of kinkiness I could rate myself, but I'm open to trying almost anything. I'm most comfortable in the fetish kinkiness than the S&M kinkiness (if they are on the same continuum), but I would like for someone to expertly take me out of my comfort zone.
The challenge I was referring to is in personality, or emotional challenge. I want someone to be able to match wits, play roles, have ideas and experiences that could make the experience lots of fun! But I also would like to be challenged physically. Because I'm a big guy, I'm proportionately big as well, so it would be fun to be with someone who could "handle" me as well.

That does satisfy my curiousity. It looks like we are in the same place, sexually that is. I have several fetishes and fantasies I would like to fulfill. I do agree that it helps to have someone who is mentally and emotionally up to the same experiences. I imagine it is a little dificult to find someone who can "handle" you considering your size.
I do have a a slight problem finding people open to my situation. I am married so that is a red flag for most men. It sucks to be quite frank. I enjoy sexual relationships that push the envelope a little. I like to experiment and be a little daring. To be really honest, I adore sex in any form and fashion. I can do without the emotional "stuff" although I do like to have a little emotional involvement since it does help the flow of things. I have had relationships where the guy is just too in to me which causes problems for me. I have also had relationships where the guys is all about getting himself off while I am left wondering why in the hell I am there. Don't get me wrong, I will never underestimate the power of great sex. I just think it holds a much great power if you enjoy the person as well.

I agree 100% with what you said about emotional involvement...it's certainly a plus when you're having fun or a fling, but it can complicate things too.
