Nurse convinces her spouse that its okay if she has sex with patients because its therapeutic. Then she convinces partner to join in.

Pesepctive

So here's some in-depth.

Nurse does at-home care for elderly or whomever. She's chatting on Teams or another chat platform with work and she's discussing concern over an unconscious patient who experiences obvious tenting of the pants. She is discussing if it's related to undiagnosed brain trauma.

Husband sees chat, asks a few questions. The guy is mostly alone, attended by his nephew every so often, nurses see him too. He takes sleeping pills to knock him out so he can sleep better, even during the day, and otherwise he's functional for ADLs. He's a bachelor so he lives alone.

Husband comments on how terrible it would be to constantly have erections without anyone there to take care of them. He said he hoped if he were single, he'd have a nurse take care of him. They have a good relationship, the comment is subtle, but she picks it up. It's been a long time since they've done that. She thought they 'grew out of it' but apparently not.

She could get fired, she says. He nods and shrugs, she's close to retirement anyway. The man would appreciate for sure. Husband certainly would to.

She's faced with a decision. Do it or don't? Bring husband to watch or not? Take video or not?

And scene ....

and hilarity ensues...

where do I get me a nurse that kind? (not that erections happen here anymore)

Ellen Steinberg, Ph.D. better known as X-rated actress Annie Sprinkle penned a column for 'Club' magazine in the late 70s. One of her "continuing exploits" was to visit -- and fuck -- terminally ill patients. Lisa wrote a chapter of her 'Philadelphia Texas' series about Lydia and Mave, who after being with Lisa and I on the track team, and paying for college by making pseudo-scientific 'electro-sex' videos with Darcy and Anne, became nurses. They had read Annie's column in one of their brother's stash of 'girlie' magazines -- hmm, how did we come up with that idea? -- and thought "What would Annie Sprinkle do?"

It's not a very big leap from that to a full-on sexual hospice - an institution where terminally ill patients go to get palliative care and all the sex they can handle until they check out. Might as well die with a smile on your face!

Slogan: We put the PAL in PALliative!

why should dying patients get all the fun?

Some of us want a reason to live...

... then one night, as nurse and her spouse pleasure a patient, that patient's spouse stops into the room...

I've noticed there's a lot of "hilarity ensuing" going on with the SI forum lately - together with no small amount of self-promotion of threads.

Is someone here suffering from a touch of Attention Deficit, by any chance?

hilarity should always ensue in Lit tales, IMHO.

The world has enough cynicism and misery. I'm a sucker for happy endings.
