city’s deputy Republican registrar of voters shoots her tenant dead, arrested for murder

Wink has posted multiple pro-police messages on Facebook in the past, including one she shared just one day before the shooting, which reads: “The current cry is hold police accountable. I truly believe police would do a far better job if COURTS would hold CRIMINALS accountable.”

Wink was previously arrested for locking Lametta out of the house, and allegedly told police that she had also stolen his belongings and taken them to the dump. She has been charged with murder and is being held on a $1 million bond. Wink’s attorney did not immediately respond to a call seeking comment.

In addition to serving as an election administrator, Wink previously served as the city clerk and also mounted a bid for state representative, according to the Hartford Current. She owns five properties in town, according to local news station News12.

seems she wanted him out and they argued. i fully expect the numpties in here to say she was 'standing her ground'. who knows, she may even get away with that cop-out.

she was arrested back in september for throwing his stuff out– clothes, jewellery, money–and not allowing him back into his home, by cops who she told they'd have to arrest her... so they did, and she got a $2,000 bond and a court date for April this year.

So now, pissed off with this tenant (and her social media goes off about him and how she's bigly pro desantis and how this tenant, according to her, is a lorry driver but receiving benefits), she take a gun to his home... where she was going "to clean".

After firing the initial shot, there was a pause, then she fired 4 more. The victim died with 4 gunshot wounds and a neighbour says they heard the guy shout 'call 911' after the first bang.

“Wink and the victim in this case had numerous interactions over the course of a month,” said prosecutor Michelle Manning on Friday, according to the Advocate. “She then very clearly showed her anger towards the victim. That anger escalated to the point where she shot him in his home — she brought the gun to that house and shot him yesterday. That, in the state’s view, shows that she is a very dangerous person who lets her anger guide her finger.”

A police report obtained by the Advocate suggests that Wink may claim self defense. She reportedly told a 911 dispatcher that Lametta “came” at her when she went to his apartment to clean. It’s unclear why she believed she could enter Lametta’s apartment.

“He was after me,” Wink reportedly told the dispatcher, according to the police report obtained by the Advocate.

there are legal ways to evict a tenant.

there are legal ways to report someone you believe is defrauding the state.

her behaviour was anything but. this needs to go the way of the cop shooting the guy accidentally if she dares claim she did nothing wrong.
