Care Bear Cops.

I don't know, accordign to what theya re saying happened, they did it right. He just got lucky and caught them by surprise.

I mean think about it this way, if they did not call paramedics for his chest pain and he died enroute to the station, at least one cop would have to be fired and the sheriff would lose the next election.

Course I like how he "somehow managed to get his hands in front of him." Says to me they uncuffed him and recuffed his hands in the front to let him lay on a stetcher at which point he pulled the escape.

Ten years ago the cops did the same thing with a prisoner, who killed 3 officers escaping. They cuffed him in front, and he had a handcuff key.

The FBI did a study, and care bears get hurt and killed a lot more than hard-nosed cops.

Not necessarily! It is possible for a person with the right combination of thin build and long arms to pass the handcuffs over his ass and down his legs, eventually moving the handcuffs past his scrunched up legs/feet and he then has his hands in front of him. [Something you usually learn in prison.]

And the guy might be Harry Houdini for all we know....or Fart Man. Even in the hospital prisoners remain shackled to the bed.

He had pepper-spray on him!

I've seen this a 100 times at the hospital. Cops bring in prisoners having more concealed weapons than a Ninja Turtle. Cops are impatient....and Care Bears until a moron fucks them.

And this moron cured these two guys of their problem.

I know it is possible. Except well he was in a cop car until they took him out to see the EMT's, those cars have not been big enough to sneeze in for 20 years. I seriously doubt he managed to do that in the car.

Again i gotta disagree with the carebear bit, honestly James you should know this, cops are trained to not let these things happen. They are trained to never let someone get at their gun or pepper spray or well do much of anything besides get handcuffed and shoved in a car. Yet we see cops being shot and pepper sprayed and whatnot all the time. These are not cops being care bears, these are examples of cops being careless.

I posted elsewhere an event I was involved in two years ago.

A deputy and I went to a house to arrest a man for an outstanding warrant. While the deputy was cuffing the guy his sister arrived and jumped on the deputy. I took custody of the prisoner.

The sister was the source of the information about the warrant and the fugitive.

Anyway, the deputy removed the woman off his back, and she ran off screaming police brutality. I would have cuffed her for battery on a LEO at least. So the house quickly filled-up with cops and supervisors. The sheriff's dept tried their best to get me to say the deputy abused the woman, and Internal Affairs was very nasty with me. I was interviewed several times.

I made it very clear the deputy was too restrained in handling the woman.

But this is how it is anymore.
