Starter:
Astryk, the young and streetwise member of a well-established gang of thieves, had just entered the fashionably expensive home. He had been surprised by the ease at which the back door's lock came undone. Disregarding the ease, assuming it was either wealthy naivety or his own prowess, he continued to explore further. Within the main hall he spotted a well-made vase, obviously of a high value. Smiling to himself, he strode towards the treasure and began to lift it from the pedestal it sat upon. Distracted by his excitement towards the vase, Astryk didnt detect the approaching footsteps. His attention was not diverted until a switch was flipped, causing light to eluminate the surrounding area. Blocking him from escape was the manor's owner, a strong looking man.
"Uh.. I can explain," Astryk nervously said, releasing the vase and backing away. His sudden movement prompted the pedestal to tilt and drop its contents onto the marble floor.
The vase cracked along its side, small shard scattering about the room. Astryk attempted to search for another exit, but soon realized his attempts were futile. He was trapped.
