Capitalists keep your hands off our unicorns

I nearly forgot that we have a resident unicorn to weigh in!

Am I overreacting? Or is this the biggest outrage of all time?

God damn it.

It's feeling unsafe out there. :(.

I did notice I could have taken a hundred unicorn pictures in the last month

Don't let them steal your magic to make a buck! Bastards. We'll protect you!

I blame the Instagram. Too many people looking for the same way to be special, and now they've gone and opened it up to brands.

Fuck off, brands!

Eunuch horns ?

I don't know that those would sell as well. Why? Are you in the market?

It is pink and blue!
They shoulda called it the Gender Fluid Frappe!!

That may have not gone over so well with the PC crowd though.

Pink was a masculine colour before becoming identified as a feminine one. It's an interesting history really.

Interesting how times change.

I knew that red was a rare pigment back in the day, very expensive. Woad (light blue pigment) was readily available, the color for the peasants.

Makes sense that back in the day baby boys would be adorned in red tones, they were valued more than females.

Wow, how edgy and funny. Are you a professional comedian? Sorry, people must ask you that all the time.

My favorite part of my favorite Disney movie

This is why I love you. You just get me.

I knew this guy would show up! A classic. Fighting the good fight for all of us

Everyone can be a unicorn, but unicorns cannot be something chain or global or uniform. They are strongly themselves. even I am only 97 percent unicorn. And I am happy to stick out as an oddball :).

So fascinating. Great read on the topic:

Ladies' Home Journal article in June 1918 said, "The generally accepted rule is pink for the boys, and blue for the girls. The reason is that pink, being a more decided and stronger color, is more suitable for the boy, while blue, which is more delicate and dainty, is prettier for the girl."
