Can't find a certain story

Hi - sometime between 7/08 & 12/08 I read a story that I liked and failed to add it to my favorites - since then I can't find the story. Sadly I can't remember the name or who wrote it. I do remember the first story said something along the lines of welcome to Sanctuary. It was a non human story about a girl sort of hitch hiking along a deserted road in the cold. She is picked up by a strange kind of fat guy in a truck who rapes her. She is rescued by a sheriff who is a wolf and taken to a local hospital. The name of the town I believe is Sanctuary. I think the sheriff's name started with a D and I can't remember the girls name. I do remember the Sheriff has the girl stay with him at his home after she is released from the hospital. This is for the most part all I can remember of the story. If anyone knows the name of this story or who wrote it -- I'd really like to know.

This was probably Daniellekitten's story that was pulled from the site for reasons unknown to her. The story is still available online -- just not here. You can probably locate it with a quick Google of her pen name.

Also be warned that the story hasn't been completed yet, and that she's having some health problems that may keep it incomplete for a while.
