Can't figure out what's taking so long.

I submitted a revised version of one of my stories. It was rejected and they told me if I wanted they could remove the original story and replace it with the revised version. So I resubmitted and in the resubmitted version I wrote that they could go ahead and delete the original series and replace it with the one I was trying to post. That was sunday night, they have deleted the original one like I told them to do but still have not accepted or rejected the new one. It still says pending but you can't click on pending like you would normally be able to do...what's the deal? Do I have to re-submit AGAIN? Or does it just take longer in situations like this then normal?

Each and every time your story goes through the process it starts all over again in the queue. It's presently taking three or four days to post. So it should post tomorrow but may take a day or two more.

I thought you were always supposed to be able to click the "pending" icon though? I figured since I couldn't click it, that meant something went wrong.

Good thing you couldn't click it, then--because (here we go again) that sends it back to the beginning of the queue.

If you had just made an edit to the story, you would have kept all the views, votes, and comment. By having Laurel delete the original story, you lost all that.

One person handles all the stories on the site so expect a little lag time.
