cannot change mail-adress in my profile

Hello,

I tried to change the mail-adress in my profile because my old one isn't existing any more.
My new adress is valid and already succesfully in use, but here on lit I cannot change it - the message ("verification mail is sent to new adress ...") is shown, but I don't receive that mail.
Nothing in my spam-folder and firewall doesn't block literotica's mails.

Tried 2 different mail-adresses and changing ain't working with both so far ...

Any help is much appreciated.

P.S.: already sent mail to support@lit.. but wanted to mention it here as well, maybe somebody else has the same problem?

update:

tried it today in my user control panel here in the forum (https://forum.literotica.com/usercp...) again and it worked instantly.

So I checked it here (https://literotica.com/my/#/user/options) and there is still the old adress - even after logging out and in again.
Tried it there as well and it still doesn't work ... ??

Sorry, I'm fairly new here (at least as an active member), so maybe this is a silly question, but don't they both use the same data of user information in the background?

I've been having same issues. Can't find a place in Profile to change my e-mail address. Wrote to sysadmin and changed it in that message, but am still getting notifications of Forum updates to my old address. If the Forum needs a separate change, please tell us how to do that .

I try it almost every day, but changing my email on the story site still does not work.
Have sent mail to support@lit... and started this very thread and also contacted the user "literotica" as mentioned in the FAQ if these don't answer my question ... which they apparently don't.

On another much smaller forum there are 4 or 5 tech-gurus keeping everything running. Don't know how much they are here, but with little more than 2,5M members (as it is mentioned here somewhere) I was expecting a better technical support.
Until now I got no reply, the bug is still not fixed and I have no clue what I can do except wait and hope

Honestly, I'm getting frustrated

Story site will not let you update the email address, never sends the verification email.

How can the email be updated?

Having exactly the same problem. The email address attached to my account is so, so old (I have some sympathy) and I don't have access to it anymore.

While the email seems to have been updated here in the forums, on the main site I never receive the validation email. Would appreciate anyone's feedback on how they successfully changed it!

I'm a little concerned that some poor unsuspecting person has inherited my old address and is now getting a load of spam from literotica about it
