WEll it looks like the guy, Stockwell Day is like me totally oblvious to the wrtiing on the wall in a little under 3 months his public ratings have gone from above 75% and plummented to under 21% and he is still under the thought that people want him to continue as leader of the Canadian Alliance.

He is ignoring one of the major tenants concerning politicians in the Canadian Alliance, that if the people don't like you they recall you out of your position. The people have been shouting and screaming for his resignation but he has been turning the death ear.

If Stockwell day continues of he will destroy the only hope Canadians had for something worth while in the future, if they had been giving time to deveolpe in the next few years a more well rounded candian out look, but Stockwell day has set any progress they made back 20-30 years.

You'll forgive me if I don't shed any tears over the obvious and imminent demise of the CCRAP. Good riddance to bad rubbish as my Granma used to say.

Well actually The Canadian alliance was making inroads for all other 3rd partyies to stand a chance of getting any power. Not just themselves but by them getting as far as they were was opening the door to altenative parties, like NDP green, independants etc. But with the demise of the Canadian Alliance it means only one thing. the Canadian Alliance gave hope to the candian people that other parties beside the Liberals can succeed.

Liberal Canada Forever. Vive le Emperor. :(

I agree with you Todd. The Alliance split the votes up so that other parties might make inroad enough to have power.
I am not sure if it is Stockwell Day that has caused this or the dissident members stirring up so much crap that the public is just turned off to the party.
I personally do not like the present Liberal Federal Party but then I really do not think much of any of our politicians.

Like a banana split

Canada's rapidly becoming like a third world Banana Republic but with snow. The Canadian Alliance and it's forerunner the Reform Party were the best thing that ever happened to the Liberal Party. They split the opposition vote so much, they guaranteed Liberal hegemony for the forseeable future.

Woe is us!!
