Body identity not match you ID. An airline can arbitrarily refuse to fly you.

That has happened in the US as well, especially for trans folks who live full time but their state doesn't allow changing the gender on id cards without surgery (NJ not too long ago changed regs on that, they allow changing gender on a driver's license by filing a form stating you are living full time as the new gender and I think with statements from a therapist you are transgender)...but a lot of people don't have that luxury (and if you are from the shithead state of Texas, forget it totally). Trans people have been denied the ability to board planes and have faced hassles from the TSA screeners.

That is why I vowed to NEVER fly again when TSA went into effect.
