*sigh* There is this persistent preposterous rumor, I have no idea where it came from, that there exists a large English-speaking -- and also French-speaking! the idea! -- country to the north or, in some versions, to the east of the United States. The people supposedly put maple syrup on things otherwise edible (in their darker, nihilistic moods they even put something called "cheese curds" on fries), and they do everything just like Americans only just a little different (football fields 110 yards long, cigarettes sold 25 to a pack, multi-colored paper money, "bacon" means ham), and their national police wear some kind of over-the-top gay-bondage rig with a red coat and weird leather belts. Needless to say, all this is pure urban legend. You'd have better luck finding Atlantis! :D

Milk in Ontario is generally sold in plastic bags. 3 bags = 4 l.

Smaller volumes 1l. 2l. in cardboard containers.

We used to get cartons, but recently switched back to buying our milk in bags. We had to buy one of those plastic jug things. When you start a new bag, there's like a whole ritual to it.

We have to keep ourselves amused somehow. Milk in a bag does the trick as well anything else.

I saw a werepolarbear drinking whiskey on the street in Iqaluit with some Spanish speaking Canadians. True Story

I haven't locked my front door in years.

Even when I go out it's left unlocked.

I have some pretty neat stuff to steal too.
