Hey I just heard about this today ... now this is a great idea ....
After the September 11th tragedy, many Canadians have asked what can they do to help.
Wellll … what they can do is accept Mayor Giuliani and Governor Pataki’s invitation to come to New York. They can be there for the “Canada Loves New York” Weekend November 30 – December 2.
Canadians will all come together on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC for a big Canada Loves New York rally. The ticket for admission is a Canadian passport.
There are low air fares offered through Air Canada ($179 Cdn return) and Greyhound bus fare return is $99 Cdn from Nov 28 – Dec 4 and Sheraton, Westin and W Hotels are offering hotel rates from $169 (yup U.S. lol).
The Canada Loves New York Weekend is more than a good time. It is a historic occasion. It is Canada’s demonstration of solidarity and support for a great city in its time of greatest need.
