OK, so they reported their illegal marijuana stolen and they are in jail. Apparently they are still going to allow these sub-cretins to BREED! The issue of such a breeding would probably have a negative IQ. Great for scientists to study, but I don't want my taxes to pay for it! Comment?

Couple Allegedly Report Stolen Marijuana

Fri Dec 3,10:13 PM ET Strange News - AP

CALLAWAY, Fla. - Help, police, someone stole my pot! A Panhandle couple is under arrest after notifying police Thursday that their quarter-pound stash of marijuana was stolen and that they needed the weed back, because they were going to later sell it.

"They're America's dumbest criminals," said Lt. Ricky Ramie, head of the Bay County Sheriff's Office narcotics task force.

Deputies arrested 18-year-old John Douglas Sheetz and 17-year-old Misty Ann Holmes and charged the duo with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to the police report, the couple returned to the home they share and found the home broken into and a quarter-pound of marijuana missing. They immediately called authorities to report the break-in and theft.

Police said the couple told them they were going to resell the marijuana and allowed the detectives to search the apartment. Investigators discovered several marijuana stems among other drug paraphernalia during the search, The News Herald in Panama City reported for Saturday editions.

They were taken to the Bay County Jail and are each being held on $17,500 bond.

In matter of fact, only those who live in Florida are actually paying for their incarceration.

However, these people are, IMNTHO, poster children for euthanasia.

Dealing drugs is one thing, but going to the police and telling them you are dealing drugs boggles the mind.

The story did not say, but I am convinced that there is a reasonable probability that each of the couple is the result of selective inbreeding designed to produce complete and total idiots.

JMHO.

They are guilty of major stupidity and conspiracy to sell pot, no offense, but calm down. Neither offense warrants the death penalty.

There might be some rapists, murderers, and terrorists a little more deserving of your hostility.

awww... that's so nice.. these "criminals" were so innocent that they had no idea pot was illegal. and now the gov't has come in and bitch-slapped them and taken away plants that have existed for thousands of years.

This drug war should be over by early Christmas. ;) ..in the year NEVER.

Giggling is not how I show hostility. And giggle I do.

See what happens if you don't say no to drugs....

Hey, anybody got a light?

I definitely do not feel that the selling of pot warrants either the death penalty or even the severe prison terms often handed out to those who cannot afford good lawyers.

Now, as to extreme stupidity, I must politely disagree with you. I, in my past, dealt with those who may or may not have dealt drugs. They are often violent criminals. Anybody stupid enough to go to the police over the theft of illegal drugs would probably give up their supplier. Probably their supplier was another idiot. However, if they were supplied by someone far enough up the chain, a drug war could result. Drug wars are a danger not only to dealers and users, but also to innocent (and some not so innocent) bystanders. I must add that my knowledge of this is all second hand and only resulted from some guy with the initials RR being called in.

JMHO.

Yes but these probable violent criminals was in possesion of a few pot stems and some paraphanelia, everthing else will be thrown out of court, I'm surprised the cops are pursuing it. The supplier was who stole the pot, they know it, the cops know it, and we know it.

They lost their money, their pot, and then got thrown in jail all in the name of stupidity. The DA could make the criminal stupidity charge stick easier than anything else.

Take my word for it, I don't need to know a great deal to figure these people do not know anyone far up the drug supply chain and if a drug war broke out these two would bring knives to a gunfight.
