Can someone point me to a thread on how to post a pic?

You have to have 100 posts for an avatar.

To post a pic, use the following code

For a picture from the internet, use this bracket [
write img
close it with the other bracket ]
paste the internet address of your picture,
use this bracket again [
write /img (now with the '/' sighn)
close it with the other bracket ]

Check the code below; replace { by [, and } by ]
{img}https://hischarisisenough.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/castaway.jpg?w=482&zoom=2{/img}

gives you:

If it is one of your own pictures, select 'Manage Attachments' below the Message Box, under Additional Options.
Upload your picture,
Click on the uploaded picture - it will show the picture in a new Tab
Copy the address of the picture, and use that address the same way as you do with other internet pictures:
