Keeping track of the number of votes I receive for my stories, I have noticed that occasionally, when I do my monthly checks, that sometimes the vote count decreases from 1 to 3 or so votes from the time before. Is there an explanation for this? I wonder, if people officially leave the Literotica site, are the tabulated votes they gave others taken away as well? Or can you go to a story which you originally gave a 4 star rating (or whatever) and, in a fit of anger, somehow take back that score if you so desired? Or is it a computer glitch that will rectify itself at some point?
I realize this is pretty much a non-issue around here, basically unimportant in the scheme of things, but I've had it happen a number of times, and so I was curious to know why it happens, and if it has to others around the site also.
