Can one actually die from bordom?

After looking at that av, who's bored? Maybe, STIFF as a bored.:D

fenius bordonimus -

The process and eventual parting of the spirit from the physical body as a result of too little intellectually stimulating activity.

Nasty - you perv! ;)

Love, no, don't do it! For the love of god, let me save you from such a terrible fate.

Not in my house :D

Now, would one kill fore boredom? That is a very different story!

It would depend on how you tried to relieve your boredom... masturbating with an egg beater could turn out to be fatal...

LMAO - Kiwi, I'll stay away from the kitchen implements, I promise.

Some are okay... it's amazing what you can accomplish with a good spatula...:D

I swear the dishes are calling my name.

The kids are being good,Tiger is out teaching, the board is really slow...I got nothing to do.

Sigh...

You can die from the options boredom -leads- to... so... in a way, yes. Hmm.

That'd be fun for court. "It wasn't my fault, it was Boredom. I was sitting there minding my own business, and he got up in my face and did this damage to me and his words made me go out and commit the crime. It isn't my fault."

And somehow, absurd as it is, it wouldn't surprise me.

Then, the following week on TV: "Borlav - The New Blue Pill. Over 1 million Americans suffer from Chronic Boredom. Ask your doctor to find out if Borlav is right for you."

sure feels like it, cant get online, not really interested in wrestling tonight :( this isnt normal

omg i'm so freaking bored when this slump end i feel like bashing my head against the wall until i am knocked out and cant remmber the mind numbing boredem

If I don't keep myself suitably entertained my mind will immediately shift to occupy itself- normally, by seeing how many different ways I could commit suicide and which ways would be fastest, most painless, cheapest, and least embarassing. Luckily I'm prone to not being able to make up my mind.

would it be rude to ask the obvious question. if you're bored, why don't you do something about it. and i'm not being snide, i'm really curious.

Please don't even joke about that, sweetie.

Those of us with family members who have taken their lives don't look at it as a joke, ever.

Is one prone to death by bordom?

I don't know... But tonight I'm well on my way to finding out first hand. I'm bored outta my mind!
