Can I speed up my story's posting?

I posted my first story via e-mail, and it took only 4 days for it to be posted. I did the same for my second story, but I've been waiting 2 weeks now, and it's still not posted. I'm trying to be patient, but I've since read in another forum that it can take as long as two months for e-mail submissions to be posted. Is it possible for me to now go into the submission screen and replace the "Submitted via e-mail" message with an upload of the story? Or will that just cause more confusion and delay? I've e-mailed The Powers That Be at Literotica about this, but gotten no response. Is this possible, or should I just work on being patient?

You may get your answer faster @ the Author's Hangout Forum.

Yes, login to your memberpage --> Submissions --> view submissions page. Click on the link next to your stories which says "pending". A page will open up where it will show you how you have submitted your story. Cancel that and copy and paste it into the window provided (fastest) or upload your story. Hit save changes and the story will probably be up in 2-3 days.

I don't think it'll cause any more delay.

The best thing to do is to just not email your submission.

Is there a reason why you needed to?

f you do resubmit via copy & Paste or upload, make sure you put a comment that it's a resubmission of a story you e-mailed.

Copy & Paste is the quickest way to get your story posted, but even that can take a couple of weeks, depending on Laurel's workload and how many other stories were submited at the sme time. Once the story shows on your submissions page as "pending" there isn't much you can do to speed up the process except pratice being patient.

Thanks all. I re-entered the submission screen and re-submitted. I'll keep my fingers crossed and try to be patient.
