Can I keep trailers I see on the net?

I know I can do a Save Target As thing, but does that actually put the trailer on my desktop, or is that just a web page saved? I've always assumed that I can't save trailers and net films. Am I right or wrong?

I am 90% sure you have to have the option to download to actually be able to view the whole video.
But it can't hurt to try.

It all depends on the format the trailers are in. Mpegs and Quicktime (*.mov) can be saved, but realplayer movies usually can't.

In general, trying to save anything that is "streamed" will only result in saving a link instead of the actual film clip.

If it's a link to a file (mov, mpg, wma, etc) - yes.

If it's streamed (real) - no.
