Can anyone tell me how a story of a woman who goes out for a night with friends, winds up in a flat with two guys, phones her husband and lies about missing the last bus home, then spends the night screwing like a slut with said two guys while hubby thinks she's staying with a friend, winds up in *loving wives* category?????????

Just curious, that's where my last cheating wife tale finished up regardless of my comments at submission.

At Lit, "Loving Wives" is the usual home for "Cheating Wife" type stories. Some folks have taken exception to that title, but there has never been any general agreement on an alternative name.

I wish you had said what category you posted the story to originally. Laurel usually tries to move as many stories away from the mega-category 'Erotic Couplings" as possible. If you want your story taken out of "Cheating Wives," PM her and explain the situation. She did that very thing for me "once upon a time."

Not a big issue, just an item of confusion and humour really mate, I originally submitted it for erotic couplings with a view to group in my mind as there were two guys at her, there may be a few less looking for cheating wives in loving, but hey sod them, hehe. Thanks for the reply anyway.

I do, if it's done right. Maybe a Cheating Wives category could be developed, and if enough of us call for it loudly enough for long enough, it will happen.

Otherwise, the fact that the wife gets fucked by other men doesn't necessarily preclude her being a loving wife, especially if it's something that her husband wanted to see.

If you can't write very well, shock value can partially make up for it, as far as reader interest.
