Can an erotica blog actually make you money?

I have seen so many thing out lately about making money on marketing with blogs. I’m just curious if that’s true if my blog is erotica based? I know Wordpress doesn’t suggest it since the blog is considered adult material so I would have to work on readership myself.

Already write tons of erotica just looking for a way to make some money with this hobby.

All thought welcome please.

If Wordpress censors does anyone have a better blog writing site? Or can I do my own website and have a blog section and no one monitors it?

Wordpress doesn't censor. Wordpress is just a particular piece of kit. Get your own web hosting space and install it yourself and you can do whatever you want with it.

I post a lot of erotica on my blog (link in signature). It's not a superb way to earn money, but if you're good and you stick at it for a few years you'll make a modest income. Oh, and it's fun too. That counts for a lot.

Every site can make some dollars. Porn is definitely very competitive, but if you have unique content that people are interested in - why not?
Just know your niche, sign up to related affiliate programs.
Don't expect huge income for the first months or even years. But if you keep publishing new content, you will get your audience.

As I said, probably not... mostly. ANYTHING can make money if marketed aggressively. Become a social media star, a uTube phenom and Instagram whiz, all that shit. Make your stage name appear everywhere. Be blatant. Then use all that and your blog to promote your custom line of sex toys, lubricants, aphrodisiacs, orifice-stuffing crystals, and inflatables. Rake it in.
