Can a story be posted to a different cat?

I have a story that I posted in Romance. It did well, but received very few downloads. At the time I thought it probably belonged in Erotic Couplings.

Is it okay to re-post the story in a new category? I would include a note to the effect that it had been posted in Romance, so folks who'd read it wouldn't think it was new.

Yes, you can post it to a different category. I moved one from one alt to another so had to ask for it to be deleted, then I resubmitted.

Just resubmit it as an edited version. Include the new cat. and any other changes you want to make. If you want to change the name, you will have to submit it as a new story and delete the previous one.

If you delete the current story and submit the remaned one in a different cat., it should appear as a new story. You should probably include a paragraph in the beginning describing it as a resubmission of a previous story, to avoid being accused of plagiarism.
