I looked out the window seeing tree after tree. We had to be close to the camp by now we had been on this same road for hours. "Almost there honey," my dad says from the drivers seat looking at me through the mirror. "I hope so theres absolutely no wifi out here." I reply scrolling through my playlists on my ipod. "Don't you think I'm a little old for summer camp?" I say when I see the large sign up ahead, it read Camp Sunset. "The brochure read girls eighteen and up and your eighteen we've been over this." Dad replies as sypatheticly as possible. "Ya and just so you and mom can go on your second honeymoon." I say with a bit of a tone. "Thats only part of it and you know it." He replies calmly. He pulls the car up a gravel road leading into a parking lot among the trees. Getting out of the car we see lots of girls hugging their parents and others wandering around a field running alongside a large three story cabin. Parents were coming out and in the doors of the cabin. "I guess thats where I'm going." Dad says pointing at the cabin. "Why don't you go mingle these are goona be your campmates for a month after all, I'll be back in a few." He says walking towards the cabin. I walk to the closest shade leaning against a tree I turn up the volume on my headphones. As I leaned there I saw some of the camp staff leading all the girls into a group around the cabin. I looked around and made a headcount in my head, there was about twenty plus me. I pull out my headphones when I see my dad coming. "Your all set up aparently theres a seperate camp on the other side of the mountain for you kids and theres lots of mature activities for you too." He says holding his arms out for a hug. I roll my eyes when he calls us kids but then run up and hug him. "I'll miss you daddy." I say with real love in my voice. "Oh I'll miss you too honey." He kisses me on the forehead and then walks toward the car. "You have fun ok." He says getting in the car. I watch him pull out then I turn and head towards the cabin.

Catherine unfolded her arms and took a deep breath, releasing some of the anger still simmering inside as she eyed the stunning brunette hugging her father goodbye. Catherine only wished it was her father who hugged her goodbye and not the stern glare from the probation officer who dropped her off by order of the court.

Catherine had eyes the other girls for the past hour or so and was less than impressed with them, Little princesses is how she viewed them. dainty, fragile, not worthy of her time or effort. But the brunette...something about the brunette made her tingle inside. Maybe it was her body language that gave her away. Yea sure the daddy - daughter hug was genuine, but something in her attitude told Catherine she wanted to be anywhere but here.

"God I hope the camp director puts us in the same cabin", Catherine sighed.

Watching as the brunette walk towards the cabins, Catherine headed in the same direction but at an angle. As soon as she was a step or two in front of her, Catherine purposely bumped in to her.

Catherine the actress she has always pretended to fell to the ground, landing in a heap as the dust swirled around her. With a disgusted look on her face she glared into the beautiful eyes of the brunette and almost broke character and smiled.

"Well excuse me for getting in your way", Catherine cracked sarcastically. "The least you can do is help me up". With that Catherine extended her arm in the air.

As I made my way to the cabin I don't notice the girl in front of me abruptly stop. Lost in my music I walk right into her, as we collide my leg hits the back of her leg and she go's down. What an act, is all I think when she hits the ground I hardly touched her. I hear the sarcasm in her voice as she exuses herself and holds her hand out to me. "I suppose I should watch where I'm going." I say as I take her hand and help her up. A bunch of dirt and leaves sticks to her shorts and thighs and something else moved. "Eeeek ants!" I yell as I start brushing off her shorts and legs of anything I see. About the tenth time I brushed my hand over her butt and down her legs I relized how I was being a bit too friendly to someone I just bumped into. "Got them hehe, got all the dirt too." I smile at her and wink, then I almost blush when her green eyes look into mine. "I'm Alex." I say holding out my hand and pulling out my headphones.

I waved my dad goodbaye as his car went away, There I was, left alone in Camp Sunset...again. I've been there in the summers of my 13 and 14 years old, but then the director and all the staff changed and the whole camp went to another type and for different styles. Now it was an all-girl camp 18 years old and up. I sighed. Only this time it won't be the usual fun. First because I knew why I've been sent here. When mum and dad said this was to let them a little while alone to setlle down some problems, I knew that it meant my parents wouldn't live together after my weeks in here. I even didn't know where my life would be afterwards, and that was such a pein in the ass. Moreover there had been Jason, that stupid fucking douchebag that I did catch kissing Cindy and who pretended that I was making a whole stroy from nothing and so on, I preferred to dump him but it was so sad. After all we had been through together, Damn guys, all were so much the same.

So I grabbed my bags and went to the group of girls. I stood silently at theouter reach of the circle when someone in charge began explaining how the camp worked. I listened distantly as I was looking around and trying to find the memories of the summers at Camp Sunset...

Just as the blonde was going to introduce herself the a camp counsellor blew a whistle getting everyones attention. I was already standing near the front steps of the cabin everyone else crowded around me the blonde and the staff member with the whistle just up the steps. The counsellor was a short little redhead with square glasses in her late twenties at most. Not having been to this camp I decide to give her my full attention. Waving her arms for everyone to listen she starts by welcoming everyone to the camp then introduces herself. "Hello eveyone my name is Ms. Topping but you can all call me Nancy. For thoughs of you who have been here before I ask that you be patient while I go over the rules and boundaries of the camp." She pauses to see that everyone is listening then continues. "Ok so first things first this is a national park spreading over quite a few square miles of forest terain rivers and three mountains. So it will not be hard to get lost so a buddy system will be in effect as soon as we arrive at the camp ground. Yes I'm sure some of you were thinking this is the camp you would be right and wrong. This is the only entrance and exit by vehicle and the cabin here is for the park ranger and the our medical staff. The camp where we will be staying for the remainder of the summer is a four hour hike over the ridge to the other side of the mountain." Hearing groans from the crowd she just smiles wide at everyone and continues. "You can all leave your things here and the ranger will fly it to the camp in the helicopter. Now seeing as this is our young adult camp the boudaries have been extended and the rules are few. Before we leave for our hike you will all be given a small gps beacon. These are designed to let off a loud beep when you leave the park grounds. So exploring is encouraged so long as you don't go past the limits of your trackers. Unless your in sight of a staff member marked by our red shirts then you are not permitted to go anywhere alone. The camp is next to a lake and swimming is allowed when our lifeguard Tammy or Meagan are around." She motions her hand to two cousellors who had walked up behind the crowd. An attractive blonde and an other red head who looked to be related to Nancy. "So if theres any questions any of our staff will be happy to answer them. Now we have to make our way now if we wanna make it before nightfall. Just leave your things on the porch and follow me Tammy and Meagan to the trail. Finally done talking Nancy walked towards Tammy and Meagan as everyone dropped their things at the cabin. I drop my things and join the crowd as we set off for the camp. I come up to walk beside the blonde I bumped into. "Hi I didn't catch your name?"

Catherine's jaw was still on the ground after hearing they were in for a 4 hour hike to the cabins. Hands on hips she was about to announce that she would be going with the ranger in the helicopter. No way in fucking hell was she gong to walk fro 4 hours to a cabin. That only meant having to walk another 4 hours when they had to leave. Her concentration was broken when Alex began speaking to her.

"Hi Alex, I'm Catherine". With that she gave Alex a hug and probably a more seductive back rub than was needed.

"Thanks for...um...dusting me off and dealing with those ants", Catherine giggled. "It felt nice" she whispered into Alex's ear.

"This god awful hike will be more fun if we go together, what do you think?"

Sophie

I sighed... A deep long sigh. Just ot make sure everyone around me understood I wasn't happy with the hike idea. And that was why they had writtent we all should wear good shoes at our arrival. I had done it, dad insisted. But the rest of my clothing wasn't fit for that. I sighed again, even deeper and louoder than before. I even sweared at that moment, and this happens rarely with me. I dropped my bag, making sure I had a couple of essential stuff with me.

I looked around and saw quite a few frowns to go with all the groaning. Why did most of these people come here if they weren't up for a little walk. "Its nice to meet you Cat, you don't mind if I call you Cat right?" I give her a wink and look down at my ipod. "Damn almost dead I hope theres at least an outlet when we get there." Everybody came to a stop and grouped together once again. The other redhead counsellor was walking through the crowd introducing herself and handing something out to everyone. She walked up to me and Catherine with a huge smile and shook both our hands."Hi I'm Meagan if you didn't guess already I'm Nancy's sister. This path is marked with blue ribbons and will lead to the camp, since everyone moves at different speeds were splitting you all up into groups of four. Since its just you two and Sophie over there you guys are walking with me." She says with that huge smile still on her face. I look behind us to the girl she called Sophie, I hadn't even noticed her she didn't look pleased about the hike. Meagan waved for Sophie to join us and then reached into the bag she was holding. She pulls out a small keychain with a mettallic coin shaped thing hanging off it. She then pulls out a pen like thing and presses it to the keycain, it makes a loud beep and a little green light lights up on the coin. She holds it out to me to take. "This is your gps marker as a rule you have to keep this on you until you leave at the end of the summer. Theres a clip for it if you want to attach it to your clothes." She pulls out a second one and turns it on just as Sophie comes up behind us, she holds it to Catherine then smiles and introduces herself to Sophie. "Hi Sophie I'm Alex hope your ready for this hike." I wink at her before clipping the keychain to my dress.

Freindly smiling faces, what a nice thing to see.
- Hi girls, nice to meet you.
I shook their hands. And I took my GPD, attaching it to my clothes.
- Seems we're going to spend hours together (I smiled at them). So where are you girls from? Are you sent here as a punishment becaue you weren't good girls at home? (giggling)
I kneeled to make sure my shoes were well tied and then stood up again, ready for the hike in the moutains under the sun.

Catherine eyes the new member of there small group. Catherine extended her hand to Sophie and introduced herself, explaining she was here at the invitation of her probation officer with a giggle.

She looked at the petite Sophie and admired the perky little body that stood before the, She winked over at Alex with a smile, thinking that this camp may not be such a bad idea after all.

- Oh you're kidding too... (giggling)
Of course, the probation officer thing coulnd't be true. This was not the type of person to be found in here. Wasn't it.

I remembered the old times in here. On those years, the camp didn't went through the whole hike thing. It was just amusement and fun. And she didn't remebered walkin all that way along. THings had changed a lot and she let this out to Meagan...

Catherine waited for the leader to head off on their long hike and everyone following. Finally it was just Catherine, Alex, and Sophie the last to begin the long journey.

Catherine admired the gazelle like shapes of her two companions, now hoping that the camp Councillor would assign all three of them to the same hut or tent. She was looking forward to getting to know her new best friends on a more personal note.

Sunny... Cloudless... Hot... The hike on the sloppy path soon turned be sweaty. I was focused on the trail and on Meagan in front of me. A chance I did a bit of sport and so I wasn't panting too much. But it was hard anyway.
I called Meagan...
- Is it going to be that kind of thing all the time at the camp?

Catherine's mind was spinning as to why she allowed herself to be dragged to Camp Sunset. Perhaps her expectations of what could be were set to high.

Certainly this camp would never miss her if she just disappeared. Catherine slowed her pace, allowing the others to grow smaller as they disappeared in the distance. Shading her eyes she caught the final glimpse of the last group cresting the hill and then disappear to the other side.

Catherine blew a huge sigh of relief as she turned to head back to the cabins. She found that her cell phone still worked and was about to make a call when she saw the cab sitting in the entrance, readying it's departure from this unimpressive place.

"Where to Miss?", the scruffy driver asked.

"Get me as far the fuck away from this boring as camp as possible", Catherine fumed.

"What a waste of my time being here", Catherine muttered as the cab left through the front entrance

I saw Catherine mnove swiftly away, drifting back discreetly. This was a nice way to add fun to this whole thing. maybe she knew about something special here around.
I waited a couple of minutes before acting the same as her and then disapeared and followed her trail. Just to see her jump in a cab. As the driver turned his engine on, I jumped at the window and called for Catherine.
- Hey, you skipping the camp? Having fun? may I go with you?

Catherine heard the distinct thump on the side of the cab and jerked her head in the direction of the sound. There was Sophie running beside the cab. Catherine stared at her in disbelieve, thinking she had left the camp and all its inhabitants far behind. "Damn that little slut is persistent" Catherine mumbled.

Leaning forward, Catherine was about to tell the driver to speed it up when she faintly heard Sophie asking if she could go with her. Sighing, Catherine looked to the driver and nodded for him to stop the car.

Catherine looked into Sophie's beautiful eyes and reached over, opening the door for her, beckoning her to join her in the back seat.

I jumped in the car, panting, and smiled to Catherine...
- Wow. that was close, thank you.
I laughed and suddenly wondered about this...
- Did you find a way to avoid the whole hike and join the camp by your own means?
But Catherine's face said something else...
- Or...? Oh God, we gonna be in trouble.
I laughed again. And stared into her eyes.
- gee I never did something like that. But... But I trust you on this, don't know why.
Her eyes were so confident, so sure. We were on a run from the camp. Gee, we'll sure be in some trouble, but that could be quite the right kind of fun which could put mum and dad back together...
