Yeah, I know this isn't BDSM-related, but where else was I going to post it? The GB?

I'm about to start my final year of my grad degree. :nana: I really, really want to go to law school next fall. I registered for the September LSAT the other day. I took one of the free practice tests you get for registering and didn't do as well as I'd hoped. I plan on ordering some of the others to work on it. I have to get better at not speeding through parts and not poking along through other parts.

Anyway, I've read some things about the LSAT, of course, but I'd like to hear from people who've BTDT. If you're uncomfortable posting in this thread because you'd prefer that everyone not know your profession or intended profession, PM me. I promise it'll remain between us. ;) What do I need to remember? I do pretty well on reading comprehension, not as well on the other parts. Any hints or tips?

I know the LSAT's not the be-all and end-all. My GPA's decent enough to get in the schools I'd like to go to, and I think I can get some good recs. I'd just like to do well on it, so I'll have a better chance of getting lots of tuition forgiveness. Anyway, anything y'all can offer would be great. Thanks so much!

(Errr, to make it somewhat BDSM-related, why are so many lawyers, law students, and prospective law students kinky? :p)

My tip is to take a Kaplan course. There's another company that also offers the courses nationwide. Either one will do. The LSAT is that important. A few points make a huge difference. Take the course, and practice, practice, practice!

Good luck! PM me if you have any other questions about this.

A is taking the LSATs soon and is studying for them as well.

a professor of mine used to write questions for the LSATs and said to do sudoku puzzles, becuase your mind has to think in the same way to answer the LSAT questions. im not sure exactly why that is, but thats what he said, and as he wrote the questions, i believe him.

I've never played sudoku, but the lsat has a section that consists of these logic games. The whole thing is a logic game, really, but this particular section is really abstract. Really, it's the kind of thing you just need to get used to.

I bet dom/mes make great lawyers. Especially the really sadistic ones.
