...but I think that "feminine intuition" is a Big Lie. It's an excuse for not being able to explain your thoughts or actions properly. In which case lots of men have it too.

So poo on feminine intuition.

I had a feeling about this happening.

the only intuitaion I can claim is mother's intuition. How else can I explain waking just seconds before my kid does. It seems weird, but it happens.

Actually, it's just a polite term for 'you've been caught, you bastard'. ;)

I wake exactly one minute before the alarm goes off at half past seven. Mainly because my wife's alarm is set for 7:29.

So true, as I've heard that hollered many a time. Rough lot these country types.

I believe in intuition. Not sure women have any more than men, though. Perhaps women trust (and act upon) it more often.

Now that was a smart hunch, Charley. Busted.

No, no Joe, a hunch is maybe something, this was pure female intuition.

If I was paranoid, now that this is out, I'd believe that all the men who have read this will have to be elimina...brb--someone at the door.

Perhaps women are just smarter than men?

I knew I liked you. :D

In all seriousness, I just think that women trust their intuition more than men do, that's all. But I have no doubt it exists.

We are, tits are actually holding pods for our spare brains.

So that means that women with big tits are smarter than women who are flat chested?

All of those strippers out there must be in MENSA.

Of all people, you? Hmmm

Yes.....why do you think they work so little and make so much $$$....they are not stupid in the least.

You would be surprised. :) :rose:

Didn't meet many strippers when I was in Mensa.

But Mensa is a suburban phenomena and strippers are generally urban. That might have something to do with it.

I think it's true about the difference being that women act on their intuitions, trust them more. Men tend to rationalize and try and be logical, in situations where logic is useless and totally inappropriate, like anything to do with women, for instance.

I am quite certain that women don't understand men either. Just because you can't see into the depths of the hole (oh right, there is new internal porn now :|) Nevermind, that should give any man insight  Lets try catheter cams :D

(sorry, going nuts from writing porn. Yes, there IS too much.)

A hunch.

The art of generalship is the ability to make sound decisions on inadequate information. No one calls it feminine intuition.

What some people might call feminine intuition is the art of reading verbal and non verbal signals to produce more information on which to base a decision than is available from just what is said. That is superior intelligence gathering.

There are no well-recieved by virtue of method studies promoting the idea that men and women have some sort of natural differences like "intuition" or "logic facillity". Conversely, there were several huge studies done in the 80's and early 90's that show no significant difference between the genders on those fronts.

Personally, though, I think intuition is an invention used to make one feel special--I don't think it has any practical or real-world relationship.
